I've had a few fun conversations with known Navy pilot vets railing against Dubya's carrier stunt. The pilot in charge that day is supposed to have had a terrible time stopping that fool from taking over actual control of the jet. Incidentally I think Navy pilots are the best. Landing on a carrier in storm-tossed seas has to be the diceiest trick in the world.

But it remains my mission to remind people that not every person who bashes a politician in a particular state is bashing the entire state or region. Otherwise some of us could be accused of America bashing, because yes, there are way too many crooks everywhere you look.
