hate and greed. What issues forth from a man's mouth is what condemns him. They rob everything from the poor and then despise them for their vulnerability.

And cold; Chavez donated heating oil to the poor in America, too. Don't tell me how much better off we all are with vulture capitalism! And that's what capitalism always turns into because it's based on greed and abuse of anyone lower on the totem pole. But it sows the seeds of its own destruction, and the wheat looks ripe for harvesting. The real Hunger Games have arrived.
I have no use for anyone like our own Sage of Omaha, but at least he's for reinstating the death tax for rich people and making them pay more taxes while alive. Not because he's some doting grandfather to the masses, but because he knows FAT COWS GIVE MORE MILK. Most capitalists aren't smart enough to figure that out, though. I'm personally against armed revolution myself and am old anyway - maybe that's why. But I do all I can to work for peaceful change to a more socialist form of government. That, too, I believe can be done.
But when vulture capitalists and armed revolutionaries do wind up locked in a death struggle, don't expect me to cry over spilled milk either. The teabaggers and other RW extremists are fascist to the core, in service to the Oligarchy. I consider them treasonous. True socialism is the only thing standing between the chaos stirred up by extremists on either end of the political spectrum.
I loved Chavez dearly and he remains in my prayers. Dis him and you've got a problem with me.
Well, while I appreciate what those few Republican leaders have done, I still distrust
their motives. At best they're just trying to get their tails out of a crack. I wrote that last paragraph mainly to throw arrows at the TPs because nothing makes them angrier than traitors. Had to rub it in.
Yes, sometimes in some ways toward some people, I can be a little harsh. But only when I think they really need it for a reality check.

Not that it detracts from him in the heart of good Democrats. But that's what matters to the Rethugs. He's been gone so long they're counting on people not remembering that they treated him badly too. Besides, they're so bereft of heroes themselves, now they have to start stealing ours!
And you're correct - they will never stop re-writing history. They're incurable liars and the truth's not in them.

He wrote Anthem after 9/11, and much later, Halleleuja. His voice is like deep dark chocolate.
Mesmerizing beyond belief. It's also great that his music, even the overtly spiritual, appeals to atheists as well because it isn't religion-specific. Not like the Gaithers, for instance. He opens his mouth to sing and truth comes out. If I ever imagine a God-voice, though, it's his.
So the long knives are out, the masks off for real. Have been a long time.
I'M SO GLAD HASSELBECK'S NO LONGER ON THE VIEW! Now she's in more suitable company for her evil greed. It would so serve those Faux people right for some of THEM to wind up homeless and find out what it feels like. The whole bloody lot are monsters.

When I had to go to the county building soon after moving here, I made a point of dropping a card I had with FBI in big letters on it. Not even my picture, which might be crossing legal lines. The small print was a joke disclaimer, but all I gave the clerk a chance to see was the big print. She wouldn't know a real FBI ID anyway if it bit her on the rump. I scooped up the card quickly, put it away, and said very sternly, "Forget you saw that." She was white as a sheet. After only a few weeks here I knew I'd have to strike a balance for my own safety.
You're right, a lot of these people (not all!) are dumb as dirt. One guy used to keep bragging on his intellectual girlfriend who almost made it through 11th grade in high school.
Those people tend to be more numerous in extremely rural areas such as this.
When the GOP took the House, a bunch of militia loaded up in the back of a truck with their firearms and parked in front of my house, honking the horn and hooting like owls. I went out waving and smiling with a camera and started to take pictures - or so they thought, the camera hasn't worked in years - and they left, never to return. They know I've contacted the Secret Service before about actionable threats to the President's safety, and somewhere a rumor got started that I'm really retired from the FBI. Maybe because when one of them yelled at me, "Why did you move here anyway?" I answered back, "Maybe I was sent by the feds to keep an eye on you!" Dumb thing to say even though I didn't claim to BE a fed, but the guy made me mad and I popped off with the first thing that entered my mind, whatever I thought would make him angriest. That's what I do, scared or not, but especially when scared. I lean in.
