My MAGA sister is losing her shit again.

I've posted some of her stuff here in the past, but today's salvo was so far into the "Republican Talking Points" terrain that I don't want to push the DU rule on not posting that crap.

SUFFICE IT TO SAY that she's OK with whatever happens in DC on Wednesday because she's had enough, and if there's violence, so be it.

Invariably, folks on DU ask me if I've tried to reason with her on any of this. Do any of you cook? Do you make things in a 450 degree oven, and you open the oven to see how it's going and you get a blast of 450 degree heat in your face? That's my sis. She's in her mid-70s, and has a life-sized cardboard cutout of Trump in her home, along with MAGA bumper stickers everywhere.

Kills me, but the people who went over the deep end for Trump are beyond reason.

I admit, I'm surprised by Trump's limitless capacity to be a complete asshole

My lack of amusement / respect goes as far back as his appearances on the Howard Stern show. I never watched "The Apprentice," but I saw him back then as a harmless asshole, a clown.

I've posted this before...his unquenchable thirst for being the supreme asshole of assholes reminds me of my girlfriend's son, a total loser, alcoholic and Oxy addict who lived with us until we evicted him.

Trump just tweeted the names of the 12 Republican Senators who are going to contest the swing states on Wednesday. He capped it with "and America will love them for it."

This will get sequentially worse, daily, between now and January 20th.

President Donald Trump is reporting big losses on his European golf courses according to a new report by Forbes magazine.

"Donald Trump continued losing money in 2019 at his two golf properties in Scotland, where he has been struggling for years, according to regulatory documents released this week. Turnberry, the most prestigious property in Trump's golf empire, lost about $3 million on revenue of $26 million. A second business, near the Scottish city of Aberdeen, bled $1.5 million on $4.3 million in sales," Dan Alexander reported Saturday.

"That's bad news for the Trump Organization, which has now declared losses of roughly $90 million at its European golf resorts, according to an analysis of records from Ireland and the United Kingdom. Since the president opened his Aberdeen course in 2012, he has lost $15.5 million. Business has been even worse at Turnberry, which Trump bought in 2014 for $65 million. Despite investing an additional $75 million or so to fix up the property from 2014 to 2018, the place piled up losses of $58 million, according to an analysis of financial reports. The 2019 figures, first reported by the Scotsman, bring Turnberry's total losses to $61 million since 2014," the report noted.
