“Well, let’s do this. Let’s do this, let’s win. Let’s win. Let’s win. We gotta win."

At a rally in Fletcher, North Carolina, Trump again dubbed his opponent “the most corrupt politician ever to seek the office of the presidency,” a charged comment that sparked raucous chants of “lock her up” from his supporters.

The Republican presidential nominee then responded to the chants with an uncharacteristic suggestion, similar to President Barack Obama’s counsel to “don’t boo, vote.”

“Well, let’s do this. Let’s do this,” he advised. “Nov. 8, let’s win. Let’s win. Let’s win.”

But he added: “We win, we have lots of options. But we gotta win.”

Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas): “I think sometimes a lady needs to be told when she’s being nasty.”

?cache=lih6joqegr

Babin began by arguing that Trump had won the debate “hands down,” because he’d talked about the issues while all Clinton could do was “attack.”

Colmes then brought up the “nasty woman” jab, and pressed the congressman about whether the remark was appropriate.

“You know what, she’s saying some nasty things,” Babin replied

“I’m a genteel Southerner, Alan,” he continued. “I think sometimes a lady needs to be told when she’s being nasty.”

Giuliani "guarantees" Hillary will bus people into PA who will vote dead people's names 6 times each

...former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani argued that any Republican would be “stupid” to accept the integrity of results before they are known.

“Suppose she wins Pennsylvania by 50 votes,” Giuliani said. He speculated, without evidence, that Democrats would “steal a lot more than 50 votes in Philadelphia. I guarantee you of that. And I’ll tell you how they will do it — they’ll bus people in who will vote dead people’s names four, five, six times .?.?. or have people in Philadelphia paid to vote three, four and five times.”

When I hear the term "zingers," my response is usually "meh." But THESE were ZINGERS, folks.

A few of Clinton’s zingers:

“Getting through these three debates with Donald has to count as a miracle.”
“Trump looks at the Statue of Liberty and sees a 4.”
“I have now stood next to Donald Trump for longer than any of his campaign managers.”
“Donald is as healthy as a horse. You know, the one Vladimir Putin rides around on.”
“How is Barack going to get past the Muslim ban?”
“Donald thought I used some sort of performance enhancer [during the debates]. Actually I did. It’s called preparation.”
“Donald will tell us after the benediction whether he accepts this dinner is over. He has to wait and see.”

If I read this correctly, Donald Trump Jr just said we're each going to get $40 million. USA! USA!

Donald Trump Jr. said it would be a “step down” for his father to become president.

Speaking with Fox News after the last presidential debate on Wednesday, Trump Jr. defended Republican nominee Donald Trump’s performance against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“He’s learning as he goes, because he’s a real American,” Trump Jr. said.

“Unlike Hillary Clinton ― who’s gotten very rich being a politician, peddling American influence ― he hasn’t,” he continued. “This isn’t only a step down, but he wants to make sure that all Americans, all ethnicities and backgrounds, have the same opportunities to do what he’s been able to do, to start a great family, start a great business.”

A National Journal writer, S.V. Dáte, estimated Trump started with $40 million in 1974 when he became president of his father’s real estate company. By one estimate, the firm was worth about $200 million. Divided among Donald Trump and his four siblings, each would have received $40 million.

Tim Kaine's take on SuspenseGate is accurate, to a degree

I saw an article on Huffington Post this morning that suggested a close margin would have to exist for Trump to challenge the outcome on November 8th, and even then, it would be on a state basis, not national. If the polls are anywhere near accurate...if she whips his ass in a landslide...he would have one hell of a time challenging the results. If he has Bush v Gore numbers...which looks doubtful...it can be Bush v Gore II, if he instigates it.

Of course, I'm leaving the conversation open to those who know more about this than I do. Given the "powder keg" nature of this election, my first reaction to the article was that Kaine's choice of the word "irrelevant" was unfortunate, perhaps not entirely accurate, and the outcome will not be decided as the result of the American people "accepting" it. If Trump has narrow margins...once again, probably very unlikely...and he decides to challenge the results, the American people's acceptance will be "irrelevant."

Maybe a better option for Kaine would be for Trump to hang himself with his own noose while Kaine focuses on policy and getting Hillary elected.

Tim Kaine Says Trump Refusing To Concede The Election Would Be ‘Irrelevant’
“We’re confident in the American public that they will accept the outcome of this election.”

WASHINGTON ― Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s unprecedented refusal to promise to respect the outcome of the election won’t matter once the votes are counted, Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said Thursday.

“Whether or not he concedes is probably irrelevant. The question is: Is the mandate clear on the 8th of November?” Kaine, a Virginia senator, said on CNN. “Donald is still going to whine if he loses, but if the mandate is clear, I don’t think many people will follow him.”

As Election Day has drawn nearer, Trump has repeated false claims that the contest is “rigged” and that widespread voter fraud will result in a victory at the polls for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

During the debate Wednesday, Fox News’ Chris Wallace twice asked Trump whether he would vow to accept the outcome of the race. The candidate refused to do so, flouting an unbroken tradition in American society. “I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense, OK?” Trump said.
