Ben Carson: Kids don't like me when I open their skulls..."But later on, they love me."
Carson: "They're not happy about it, believe me. And they don't like me very much at that point. But later on, they love me."
Right-wing radio host Hugh Hewitt, who for some reason CNN has allowed to ask questions at two presidential debates, asked Carson if being a nice guy who has cured children he could as commander and chief order bombings that could kill children by the thousands. (He didn't ask if it would be a good idea to order such bombings. It would not.)
Carson said kids didn't like it when he said he'd have to open up their skulls to pick out pieces of their tiny brains, but later they loved him. I'm not sure how that was relevant, because I don't think the children he rained fire down from the sky upon would love him for that.

Margaret Thatcher: Candidate Carly Fiorina Quotes Former UK Prime Minister During GOP Debate
If you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman," Fiorina said Tuesday at the CNN-Facebook debate. Thatcher reportedly made the statement during a speech in 1965.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle's attorneys filed a notice Tuesday that they plan to appeal Fogle's more than 15-year sentence and $175,000 fine.
Fogle was also transferred from a Henderson, Ky. detention center to a Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. His release date is set for July 11, 2029.
Fogle was sentenced to 188 months (15 years, 8 months) last month in connection with child porn and sex crimes charges. He arrived at the Kentucky jail Nov. 19 to await his transfer. He'll eventually serve his sentence at a federal prison in Littleton, Colorado.

Father & son steal $40,000 worth of chicken wings from NY restaurant where they both worked
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a father and son stole more than $40,000 worth of chicken wings from a New York restaurant where they worked and sold them on the street or to other businesses.
The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old Paul Rojek and 33-year-old Joshua Rojek, both of Syracuse, were caught stealing wings from the Twin Trees Too Restaurant in Syracuse.
Deputies say both men were employed as cooks when they placed numerous chicken wing orders with the restaurant's wholesaler. Officials say the Rojeks would later pick up the orders and resell them at a reduced price.
Deputies say the men billed about $41,000 worth of wing orders to the restaurant's account between last February and Nov. 21. Both have been charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records. It couldn't be determined if they have lawyers.
