Miles Archer
Miles Archer's JournalSo...much...WINNING. The election was one thing...the Texas / SCOTUS attempt pissed me off.
Like everyone else, I believed "anything could happen" with the election, based on Trump's bottomless corruption.
And like many people, I didn't breathe a sigh of relief when it was over, because I knew we hadn't heard the last of Trump.
He's been telegraphing his punches all year...this coup attempt should have surprised no one.
The fact that this was actually championed sickened and disgusted me.
I did not believe the Supreme Court would entertain his fantasy. I was right.
I'm still pissed off, though. I hope that the Southern District of New York unleashes the hounds of hell on January 20th.
IF Congress becomes a clusterf*ck on Jan 4 & it goes to the Governors, do they have a deadline?
Trying to process what was laid out on MSNBC tonight.
1). An assumption that the SCOTUS won't touch the Texas "lawsuit."
2). Electoral College certifies votes on Monday.
3). Votes go to Congress on Jan 4
4). Members of House & Senate can challenge the votes
5). If the House & Senate don't come to an agreement and accept the votes, each state challenge goes to the Governors of that state
Did I get that right? Please feel to correct if I didn't.
So my question is IF any or all of the challenged states go to the Governors, do they have a deadline in which to respond?

So if Barr leaves early and Rudy has COVID, WHO is Trump's most likely one-month AG pick?

Attorney General Jared Kushner
Attorney General Jeanine Pirro
Attorney General Steve Bannon
Attorney General Ivanka
Attorney General Joe Arpaio
Barr Is Said to Be Weighing Whether to Leave Before Trumps Term Ends
The attorney generals future came into doubt after he acknowledged that the Justice Department had not found evidence of widespread voter fraud in the presidents election loss.
WASHINGTON Attorney General William P. Barr is considering stepping down before President Trumps term ends next month, according to three people familiar with this thinking. One said Mr. Barr could announce his departure before the end of the year.
It was not clear whether the attorney generals deliberations were influenced by Mr. Trumps refusal to concede his election loss or his fury over Mr. Barrs acknowledgment last week that the Justice Department uncovered no widespread voting fraud. In the ensuing days, the president refused to say whether he still had confidence in his attorney general.
One of the people insisted that Mr. Barr had been weighing his departure since before last week and that Mr. Trump had not affected the attorney generals thinking. Another said Mr. Barr had concluded that he had completed the work that he set out to accomplish at the Justice Department.
But the presidents public complaints about the election, including a baseless allegation earlier last week that federal law enforcement had rigged the election against him, are certain to cast a cloud over any early departure by Mr. Barr. By leaving early, Mr. Barr could avoid a confrontation with the president over his refusal to advance Mr. Trumps efforts to rewrite the election results.
Trump used premise of "condolence call" to Kemp to lean on him for Trump-friendly electors
But in truth, Mr. Trump used the call to urge Mr. Kemp, a Republican, to call the state legislature into session so the G.O.P. majorities could appoint new electors who would subvert the will of the states voters when the Electoral College meets on Dec. 14. He has also called on Mr. Kemp to order an audit of signatures on ballots.

BWAHAHA! Republicans were "worried" Trump's GA MAGAt rally would be all about Trump. It was.
President Donald Trump traveled to Georgia on Saturday for his first campaign rally after losing the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden.
Republicans had worried that Trump would use his speech to air his grievances and conspiracy theories and they were correct. Trump began his speech by lying that he won Georgia and kneecapped the GOP candidates by pushing conspiracy theories that Republican officials rigged the election for Democrats.

So Barr spent 2 hours and 25 minutes with Trump today.
