Asked about Hick’s admission that she had told “white lies” in an effort to defend the president, Scaramucci took offense by saying everyone lies and that the real problem was that someone on the Intelligence Committee leaked her confession.
“Let’s start with white lies,” Scaramucci told the New Day host.”Tell me a person that hasn’t told a white lie. I will identify that person as the biggest of liar in the room. She’s in a closed-door session, they’re asking her stuff, it’s under oath and so is the integrity of every sentence, every syllable.”
“They asked if she told any white lies, and she said ‘yes,'” he continued. “Then they pick up the phone and drop the dime on her. It’s a closed session and it is unfair. It is in strict confidence, now they are trying to colorize this woman, who is an extremely gifted professional, as a liar. So I submit to everybody else, hold a mirror to your face and tell me you haven’t told a white lie.”
“But qualifying your critique of that, is the idea that she said nobody on this team met with any Russians — we know that’s untrue,” Cuomo shot back. “She should have known it was untrue when she said it. I don’t count that as a white lie.”

Trump "indignant" over Sessions' wee, meek, dainty push-back of his "DISGRACEFUL!" tweet
A new report from Axios claims that the president’s “head explodes” every time he reads about Sessions. What’s more, a Washington Post report reveals that Trump now refers to Sessions as “Mr. Magoo,” the old cartoon character whom the Post describes as “elderly, myopic and bumbling.”
Additionally, a White House source tells CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that Trump was “indignant” on Wednesday after Sessions gently pushed back on the president’s criticism.

New York regulator asks Deutsche, other banks about Kushner loans

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) made the requests to Deutsche Bank, Signature Bank and New York Community Bank for information on loans and other financial arrangements including lines of credit and loan guarantees a week ago, the person said.
The regulator also asked for information related to other family members, the person said.
Christine Taylor, a spokeswoman for Kushner Cos, said the company had not received a copy of any letter from the regulator. She described Kushner Cos as a “multibillion enterprise that is extremely financially strong.

Former Watergate prosecutor Nick Ackerman analyzed the direction of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation in the wake of this week’s bombshell reports on the White House. Ackerman was interviewed during “All In with Chris Hayes” on Wednesday.
“What we’re dealing with here is a conspiracy to break in to the Democratic National Committee, steal emails, and use those emails to help Trump get elected,” Ackerman suggested. “And the quid-pro-quo for that was the dropping of sanctions.”
“We should say, there is reporting indicating that was the order that was sent sort of top-down on day one, was ‘we want to get rid of the sanctions’ and there was a rebellion in the state department,” Hayes interjected.
“If you go to the other end of the conspiracy, what you have is the June 9th meeting, where you’ve got the email to Don, Jr stating that they’re going to bring all of this dirt on Hillary Clinton up to New York to this meeting from Russia, the dirt is the equivalent of the e-mails,” Ackerman continued. “So all of these emails come up to New York, they realize it’s too hot to handle, the campaign…”
