Gabbard, to Neil Cavuto on Fox, RE: Vindman firing: "there are consequences to elections"

On Saturday, Fox News host Neil Cavuto asked Gabbard if she agreed with the comparison of Vindman's firing to October 20, 1973, when President Richard Nixon's attorney general and deputy attorney general resigned instead of firing Watergate special prosecutor Archibald Cox. The congresswoman responded that she has been outspoken about her dissenting opinions on many of Trump's decisions, especially with regard to foreign policy. In this case, though, she said Trump could make whatever choice he wanted.

"Ultimately, whether people like it or not, there are consequences to elections and the president has, within his purview, to make the decisions about who he'd like serving in his Cabinet," Gabbard told Cavuto.

BELOVED W.H. Press Secretary-in-Absentia Steffi DUI Grisham caught in a lie. This is surely a FIRST!

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/02/stephanie-grisham-busted-by-cnn-host-for-lies-about-being-shunned-by-networks-we-reached-out-tapper-tried-to-book-her/

During a segment on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” host Brian Stelter called out seldom-seen White House press Stephanie Grisham for complaining that he has been shunned by the unidentified cable networks, saying she has been invited multiple times by his network and has avoided them.

As the CNN host explained, Grisham has been a constant presence on Fox News — but nowhere else.

“She’s on Fox a lot. She was on the Hannity show on Friday,” Stelter told his panel. “She claims she was turned down by some networks, that she wants to be on-air, she’s willing to be on air and been turned down.”

“For the record, we did reach out, we put her on our list again this weekend, she still hasn’t responded,” he continued. “Jake Tapper tried to book her on State of the Union — she was not available. I don’t know if she is lying or misinformed or if it’s strategic or not. I don’t what to make of it, but just to be clear, the invitation stands.”

In a tweet that will SADDEN you, Trump lowers expectations for his predicted Congress 2020 red wave.

...and lays the foundation to blame Mitt if it all comes crashing down.

Romney hurt some very good Republican Senators, and he was wrong about the Impeachment Hoax. No clue!

@KimStrassel

Mitt Romney may think he's taking a shot at POTUS. But any real damage he causes will in fact be to Senate Rs in tough races. Schumer's goal with all this was retaking the Senate. If he succeeds, he'll hopefully remember to send Romney a thank you.

Hell hath no fury like an impeached "president" scorned...Trump's Manchin attack tweets continue.

I'm not going to share the tweets...they're the same repetitive crap, ranting about Manchin and Romney.

Three days after McConnell orchestrated his free pass, he's still screaming for vengeance.

Here's what you, as a taxpayer, are paying for a cottage at Trump's Bedminster.

David Fahrenthold
@Fahrenthold

That’s the president’s golf club charging taxpayers $17,000 (plus tax) to rent a cottage for a month at Trump Bedminster. We paid even on days when @realdonaldtrump wasn’t there.

Basil Smikle NAILED IT on Rev Al's show regarding Trump.

"He's a junkyard dog. We don't need to get down there WITH him, but we need to come at him with EQUAL FORCE."

Referenced "When they go LOW, we go HIGH," saying that there's no going "HIGH" with Trump. I agree with this completely. We do NOT need to disgrace ourselves and sink to his level, but the kid gloves need to come off and STAY OFF.
