Jack White’s Third Man Records has announced a reissue of Trout Mask Replica, the classic 1969 album by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band.

The extensive bundle will be available as the 36th package in Third Man’s Vault series, with subscriptions open until April 30.

The reissue features album artwork restored from the original photo, remastered audio, the first-ever repressing of the French “Pachuco Cadaver” vinyl single, a tote bag, a reproduction of White’s 2011 tribute poem to Beefheart (who was born Don Van Vliet) and a replica trout mask.

The reissue marks the relaunch of Zappa’s Bizarre label imprint and was assembled in collaboration with the Zappa Family Trust. “Out of print on vinyl for nearly 10 years, this remaster was helmed by industry legend Bob Ludwig and cut by the estimable Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering,” the press release notes. “Utilizing crystalline-quality safety masters kept in the Zappa family vault for decades by the trustworthy Joe Travers, the audio here is positively glorious. Every last skronk breathes full life into the room. Every twisted guitar figure uncurls onto paths previously unpaved. Every last bark and howl shines resolute through the vast emptiness of your mind.”

President Donald Trump on Monday welcomed children to the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll with a bizarre rant about the strength of the American military.

In his address to the children at the event, Trump began by referring to the White House as “this house or building or whatever you want to call it because there is no name for it, it is special.”

“The elder Mr. Kushner, his company and his family are assailed by criminal and regulatory inquiries largely rooted in their newfound access to presidential power,” the article says. “The family’s East Coast-based real estate empire is under a fiscal and ethical cloud, shunned by some investors who fear being dragged into the spotlight trained on the Kushner nexus with President Trump. Two major Manhattan properties are on creditors’ watch lists, one after foreign investors backed out of a financing deal.”

Like Trump, Charles Kushner is a New York real estate kingpin. And like Trump, he’s had a colorful past, having hired a prostitute to try to entrap his brother-in-law in a scheme that landed him in federal prison after pleading guilty to 18 counts of witness retaliation, tax violations and false statements to the Federal Election Commission.

Also like Trump, Charlie Kushner is saddled with massive debt, including a $1.2 billion mortgage that comes due on an undesirable Manhattan building in just 10 months. The Times says the building may only be worth a quarter of the $1.8 billion they paid right before the 2008 crash.

Jared is very close to his father— who he still calls “daddy.”

The portrait painted by the Times shows that Kushner, rather than getting any benefit from his son’s career, is facing more scrutiny on deals involving the government or press-shy lenders and that other members of the family are embarrassed by Trump.
