After eight years of a presidency known as “no drama-Obama,” once again the Trump White House has taken another path. Axios reported Sunday that Trump brought communications staff together in the Oval Office after the leak was out. It was then that Trump promised Sadler she would not be fired, but that he wanted to know who the leakers were.

Sadler, Mercedes Schlapp, Raj Shah, and John Kelly were all present, though the door remained open for anyone to overhear what was being said to further leak to reporters. Sadler blamed Schlapp, her boss, for being one of the worst leakers, the source revealed. Schlapp defended herself and in subsequent conversations following the meeting.

Sadler then proceeded to sing about other staffers she named as leakers. However, pointing fingers at leakers has become the new way to attack someone a staffer does not like, knowing that it is a powerful tool that prompts Trump to react. There’s never any evidence presented with the accusation, merely the finger pointing.

“The allegation — like a previous internal meeting to deal with leaking — ultimately got leaked to us,” Axios reported, poking fun.

“Brennan was chief torturer in charge,” he added. “Then he disowned it, then I don’t know what he did for the CIA. He’s the most political CIA director I have ever met.”

Giuliani continued, muttering under his breath: “Clapper, well, yeah. They’re not civil servants as far as I know.”

“Really?” Bash countered. “All those decades of service in the military.”

“Hey, there are a lot of people with decades of service,” Giuliani shrugged. “Some are good, some bad and some men get consumed with power and some begin to lie. And in the case of Brennan, he’s a political guy. He was Obama’s chief defender. I’m not sure about Clapper. I haven’t watch him as well. But watching him, he’s sure not impressive.”

Ivanka Trump's security clearance was upgraded to full Top Secret at the same time as Jared Kushner's upgrade on May 1, according to a person briefed on the matter. The White House declined to comment on this story.

Why it matters: Ivanka's security clearance status hasn't always been known, and there was speculation she wouldn't obtain full security clearance after CNN reported the FBI was investigating one of her international business deals back in March.

The details:

Ivanka Trump was only ever granted interim Top Secret security clearance last June.
She was upgraded to full Top Secret clearance on May 1.
Jared Kushner's security clearance was downgraded by Chief of Staff John Kelly to "interim secret" in February. He now has full Top Secret security clearance.
