She was bleeding badly from a face-lift: Trump explodes after MSNBCs Mika calls him crazy

President Donald Trump on Thursday lashed out at Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski by claiming that the MSNBC morning show personality was bleeding badly after getting a face lift when she visited him late last year.
In a Thursday morning tweet, the president attacked both Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough for speaking badly of me on their show. He then went on to recall what happened when the two came to visit him at Mar-a-Lago for a party at New Years Eve last year.
Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Years Eve, and insisted on joining me, Trump wrote. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!
In MSNBC host fired back at the president with a tweet that subtly mocked the size of Trumps hands.
CSI Miami...yes, I am late to the game. No, I was not ready for this show.
I was a big fan of NYPD Blue from day 1. I thought David Caruso was great. I heard all of the stories about the cast, crew, director, etc. loathing this guy because he was impossible to work with. Still thought he was great.
Haven't had cable for years, which is probably why I've never caught the show (as fans know, it ended in 2012). I've had Netflix and Hulu off and on but it was only last week when I decided to check out a few episodes on Hulu.
1). Extreme pastel / neon hues in many of the shots. Do crime scene labs REALLY look like this? Does Miami really look like this?
2). Impossibly attractive people with nary so much as a single skin blemish in every role. Are they somehow Photoshopped frame-by frame or are they just impossibly attractive? Do all crime scene investigators have personal hair stylists?
3). The Who in the opening credits, of course. A cast member...usually Caruso...takes a long, thoughtful pause and drops a non sequitur of some kind and Roger Daltrey screams. You'd think that would get old after 10 seasons. Apparently it did not.
4). Impossible clues lead to solving the crime every time. There are no "cold case files" with this crew. "This strand of hair could only come from a caucasian male, age 34, six feet two inches, who drives a Lexus and works at Bank of America. His favorite color is blue and he's an avid tennis buff. We're using GPS and DNA to lock in on his house right now."
WOW! How do they DO that? Are ALL crime scene investigators THIS successful ALL the time?
5). And yes, Caruso. Jim Carrey nailed the man's mojo:
I sense binge watching dead ahead.
Senate intel committee probing over 2,000 Trump docs from Treasury Dept. financial crimes unit
Senate intel committee probing over 2,000 Trump docs from Treasury Dept. financial crimes unit

The Senate intelligence committee is combing through a trove of more 2,000 documents regarding the finances of President Donald Trump and his associates, a report by Bloomberg reveals. They received the documents from the Department of Justices financial crimes unit.
According to the report, the intelligence committees investigation of potential collusion between Trumps campaign and Russia is now focused sharply on transactions of the presidents associates, ostensibly to find evidence of payments made to or from Kremlin-backed firms or individuals.
In addition to the more than 2,000 documents they received from the Treasury, Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA) told Bloomberg their investigation is entering a higher profile phase as they prepare to interview the presidents associates like his son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner.
In the meantime, the report noted, Democrats in the House have accused both the Treasury and Republicans of stonewalling as they attempt to gather information for their investigation into Trumps alleged presidential improprieties.

Hopefully there will be a YouTube clip of this later for people unable to see it live.
A friend was handed a death sentence from his oncologist today...3 weeks to 3 months.
He had posted earlier that the cancer he's been fighting had spread to his spine. I knew what was coming next but wasn't prepared to actually hear it.
He was later informed that he had 3 weeks to 3 months left.
We were friends in California...haven't seen him since leaving there in 2012 (actually a decade or so before that).
He's a former Marine, so he had Veterans benefits and medical coverage, but today was the "We've done all we can" talk. He's saying his goodbyes.
Cancer still sucks.

According to The Guardian, the attorney generals of New York and North Carolina are investigating President Donald Trumps lawyer Jay Sekulow for alleged misappropriation of funds from one of his charities.
The investigations by North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman are being conducted partially in response to another report from The Guardian, which revealed on Tuesday that Sekulows Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism (CASE) paid Sekulow, his relatives, and members of his other companies more than $60 million since 2000.
By law, the report notes, nonprofits are barred from giving excess benefits to the people responsible for running them. CASE operates in 39 states and the District of Columbia, according to their most recent tax filings.
CASE contracts leaked to The Guardian show that the charitys telemarketers are instructed to claim Sekulow never charges for his services when calling for donations.

Trump says Senate Republicans likely to pass healthcare bill
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-healthcare-trump-idUSKBN19J28F
U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday expressed confidence that the Republican-led Senate would ultimately prevail in passing legislation aimed at repealing and replacing the 2010 healthcare law passed under his predecessor, former Democratic president Barack Obama.
"It's very tough ... I think we're going to get it over the line," Trump told reporters at the White House ahead of a separate event on energy, adding that healthcare was "probably the toughest subject" to get passed in Congress.
