mitty14u2's Journal- MORE LIES! _ Trump Has Now Broken Every One of His Economic Populist Promises
Draining the swamp has become a catchall-Republican slogan, like lock her up, that basically means doing anything to lash out at Trumps opponents. During the campaign, though, it had a different and more specific definition. Trump promised to enact reforms to reduce the power of lobbyists and business. He specifically endorsed:
A constitutional amendment imposing term limits on members of Congress
A ban on federal employees lobbying the government for five years
A ban on members of Congress lobbying for five years
Tighter rules about what constitutes a lobbyist, instead of letting people call themselves consultants
Campaign finance reform limiting what foreign companies can raise for American political candidates
A ban on senior government officials lobbying for foreign governments
Trump has not merely forgotten these promises, his administration has embraced Washington sleaze with unprecedented gusto. Not only has he failed to prevent former administration officials from lobbying for foreign governments, he has had current administration officials lobbying for foreign governments. There has never been an American presidency so easily manipulated by domestic and foreign business interests. The most benign explanation for Michael Cohens secret payments to his hastily constructed Delaware shell company is that he was a conduit for business interests to buy their way into Trumps good graces.
[Update] Trump also promised, over and over and over again, to raise taxes on the rich, including on himself. Its going to cost me a fortune, which is actually true, he said. It was not actually true at all.

The Only WITCH HUNT Was BENGHAZI by Republicans Trump goes down as WORST President Ever
House Benghazi committee files final report and shuts down
The Select Committee on Benghazi initially released its findings in June but remained in place for months afterward trying to declassify supporting documents like emails and interview transcripts for public release.
The final report, not including dissenting views from committee Democrats, clocks in at more than 322,000 words. It was added to the official House record without fanfare on Dec. 7 by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., the panels chairman.
The panel, which spent more than $7.8 million over two and a half years, disbanded at the end of the 114th Congress, before a new Congress begins in January.
The special committee was created in May 2014 to investigate the terrorist attacks at the U.S. compound in eastern Libya where four Americans died, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

The Trump-Russia-NRA Connection: Here's What You Need to Know
Did the Kremlin funnel payments to help Trumps campaign through the National Rifle Association?
Unprecedented Trump Support
The National Rifle Association spent tens of millions of dollars backing Trumps presidential bid in 2016. The NRA endorsed Trump in May 2016. And the NRA disclosed it spent at least $30 million on Trumps behalf and attacking Hillary Clinton. That level of support is unprecedented more than twice what the NRA disclosed it spent on Mitt Romneys 2012 presidential run.
The true sum the NRA spent to install Trump in the White House may be far higher. Campaign finance disclosures do not cover spending on unregulated Internet advertising or voter mobilization; citing two sources close to the gun group, McClatchy suggests the NRA may have spent upwards of $70 million on Trumps presidential bid.
President Trump is clearly indebted: You came through for me, and I am going to come through for you, Trump promised the NRA at its 2017 convention. I will never, ever let you down.
Dark Money
In the age of Citizens United and unlimited campaign donations, the NRA has emerged as an important dark money hub in Republican politics. Under its tax code designation, the NRA is a social welfare organization, largely exempt from disclosing its donors. To skirt disclosure, other big-dollar political players including a SuperPAC linked to Karl Rove and a chamber of commerce controlled by the Koch Brothers have routinely steered money into the NRA, confident that the gun groups spending will advance the GOP cause.

Lies Abound Trump/Bolten Fired Cyber Security Joyce & Bosert 4/16/18 NOT REPLACED
THE WHITE HOUSE LOSES ITS CYBERSECURITY BRAIN TRUST - 4/16/18
TODAY, THE WHITE House confirmed that cybersecurity coordinator Rob Joyce will head back to the National Security Agency, where he previously ran the nations top hacking team. His departure comes just a week after Tom Bossert, Trumps cybersecurity czar and Joyces boss, was forced outand leaves the administration without two trusted voices on one of the most important challenges the US faces going forward.
While Bosserts exit appears to have been engineered by recently installed national security advisor John Bolton, Reuters reports that Joyce will leave of his own accord. But whatever the reasons for their respective absences, losing them will slow the ability of the US to think about big-picture cybersecurity concerns. And replacing them may not be easy.
To understand the impact of losing both Bossert and Joyce, its important to understand exactly what it is they do. As homeland security adviser, Bosserts purview extended beyond cybersecurity specifically, but America's security from digital threats has nonetheless been an area of particular focus for him since he served as deputy homeland security advisor in George W. Bushs second term. It was Bossert who called out North Korea for the WannaCry ransomware that threatened to seize up computers around the world in a recent Wall Street Journal editorial, and who briefed the nation on Trumps cybersecurity executive order last fall. He was also seen as a potentially stabilizing force in a freewheeling administration.
Joyce, meanwhile, brought serious hacker bona fides to the White House earned after years of running the NSA's elite hacking team known as Tailored Access Operations. That experience helped navigate everything from if and when US spy agencies disclose valuable vulnerabilities to the countrys deterrence strategy in an increasingly combative online world.

ERIC TRUMP: WE HAVE ALL THE FUNDING WE NEED OUT OF RUSSIA
According to a Boston radio interview with golf journalist James Dodson, Eric Trump tells Dodson that Trump golf courses heavily relied on funding from Russia. Eric Trump denies this allegation.
Though Trump has never succeeded in developing property in Russia, his company has benefited significantly from Russian money in the form of its clientele. For example, according to a Bloomberg investigation into Trump World Tower, which broke ground in 1998, a third of units sold on floors 76 through 83 by 2004 involved people or limited liability companies connected to Russia and neighboring states. Trump World Tower sales agent Debra Stotts told Bloomberg that they had big buyers from Russia and Ukraine and Kazakhstan. New York real estate broker Dolly Lenz sold about 65 units in Trump World Tower [
] to Russian buyers looking for real estate. Lenz is quoted as saying I had contacts in Moscow looking to invest in the United States [
] what do you have to recommend? They all wanted to meet Donald. They became very friendly. In 2002, the push to sell units in Trump World to Russians expanded, when Sothebys International Realty reportedly teams up with Kirsanova Realty, a Russian company.
The Trump Organization reportedly welcomed the Russian clientele. For example, a 2013 article in The Nation about the influx of Russian money in Miami real estate noted that Elena Baronoff, a Russian-American socialite once described on the cover of a Russian magazine as The Russian Hand of Donald Trump, operated a real-estate company catering to Eastern European buyers out of the lobby of the citys Trump International Beach Resort. The New Republic has also extensively documented how the Trump Organization actively sought Russian buyers, so much so that the area around Trump Sunny Isles in Florida became known as Little Moscow. Within Trumps Florida licensing
developments, Reuters identified a total of twenty units in Trump Towers I, II, and III that were purchased by individuals with Russian passports or addresses. Individuals with Russian passports or addresses also purchased sixteen units in Trump Palace, twenty-seven units in Trump Royale, and thirteen units in Trump Hollywood. Trump accepted Russian money on a personal level, as well; Russian fertilizer magnate Dmitry Rybolovlevs 2008 purchased of one of Trumps mansions in Palm Beach for $53 million more than Trump had paid for it four years earlier. Some of these Russian buyers have brought more than just money to the Trump Organizationtheyve also brought links to Russian organized crime. In 1984, a Russian by the name of David Bogatin purchased five condos in Trump Tower for a total of $6 million. Bogatin, who was linked to Russian mob boss Semion Mogilevich, pleaded guilty three years later to evading millions of dollars in state fuel taxes in what state officials called one of the largest gasoline bootlegging operations in the nation. The five condos were seized by the government, who claimed that he had used the purchase to launder money. Separately, In April 2013, New York police arrested 29 suspects in two gambling rings run out of condos in Trump Tower. A condo directly below a unit owned by Trump reportedly served as the headquarters for a sophisticated money-laundering scheme run by an individual who worked for Semion Mogilevich. Until he began running for president, Trump not only did not deny his extensive dealings with Russian investors and clients but actually spoke about it frequently, boasting of the amount of Russian money that flowed through his projects in numerous interviews. So, too, did his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric: In 2008, Donald Jr. told investors in Moscow that Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets, while Eric reportedly told a golf reporter in 2014 that the Trump Organization was able to expand during the financial crisis because We dont rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.

Putin on Fox News Monday 7/16/2018 1/2 hour after Summit
LONDON In the span of 24 hours, President Donald Trump upended a NATO gathering and expectations for his planned summit Monday in Helsinki with Russian President Vladimir Putin, raising questions about what Trump hoped to get out of the talks and what he would be willing to give up.
At a news conference Thursday right before he left Brussels for London, Trump refused to rule out ending NATO exercises in the Baltic Sea. On the issue of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump said, All I can do is say, Did you? and Dont do it again. But (Putin) may deny it.
In Brussels, he berated NATO allies over their defense spending, even privately threatening to walk out of the alliance only to sign on to a unanimous declaration acknowledging the alliance has made progress. By the end, he declared NATO "much stronger than it was two days ago."
If the unpredictability Trump showed during the two-day NATO summit in Brussels re-emerges at the Putin summit, experts said, the United States could end up making dangerous concessions.

Trump Russian Billionairs Oligarchs 2013 Starts Crazy USA vs Russia vs Trump & Family
Trump in Moscow: what happened at Miss Universe in 2013
After just ten minutes of discussion, Trump was showing off his new friend. He clapped me on the shoulder, gave a thumbs up, and started shouting, Look whos come to see me! Its the richest man in Russia!, Agalarov recalled to a Russian magazine later that year, before clarifying that his fortune estimated at about $2bn was far from Russias biggest.

At The 2013 Miss Universe Contest, Trump Met Some Of Russia's Rich And Powerful
The political bomb that went off recently when Donald Trump Jr. revealed he met with a Kremlin-connected lawyer in hopes of getting damaging information about Hillary Clinton has raised new questions about the Trump family's connections to Russia.

Mueller investigating Russian billionaires invited to Trump inauguration festivities: report
One Trump guest, oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has even been sanctioned by the Treasury Department in response to what U.S. officials called Moscows broad destabilizing activities during the presidential race.
The men were taken to exclusive events that were reserved for members of Trumps inner circle and top donors

Trump, Russian billionaire say theyve never met, but their jets did in Charlotte
Trump and Rybolovlev, however, agree on this: They say they have never met, although Trump sold a Palm Beach mansion to the Russian fertilizer magnate for $95 million eight years earlier. Rybolovlev recently bulldozed the mansion and is selling the oceanfront property.

The potential for such a high-level meeting has concerned some American allies in Europe, particularly because of recent tensions between the Trump administration and traditional American allies including Canada, France and Germany.
