Did anyone watch Rachel's program yesterday? She is normally rather reliable in her presentations. Yesterday she showed that in ND the frackers leave radioactive filters in different places around the state, including public garbage cans to avoid paying $1000 to dispose of them properly. It seems that the state health department does not do anything about it. Does that mean the same thing can happen in other states? They are drilling so deeply into the earth, that a uranium layer may be involved.
Perhaps we better all get geigercounters.
Does anyone know more about this?
There is a problem in my yard
and garden with bind weed. I cannot dig it up or I'll destroy roses, bulbs and other perennials. I tried Roundup, even using a small brush to paint the leaves with it, but it did not help. I don't mind it so much in the lawn, but at least I would like to see my flower and vegetable areas without it taking over. Any good ideas??
My new standard poodle has serious problems
I got her from a breeder in another state. No idea whether the breeders abused her or her own mother neglected her. She is not only full of fear, but almost schitzoid. I have her now for half a year, and she has become better.Still, if I take her to training class she starts drooling and hides behind me.She is now 2 1/2 years old. If I walk towards her, she runs away. She has found the backyard is her safe haven. On the other hand she trusted my old Boxer immediately. In the beginning I tried an anti depressant drug, but stopped that very quickly, because she got worse. Now she still gets car sick and I have to give her each time a pill before we go to class. I want her to listen to me and accept me as her master instead of my Boxer. Mostly I want her to lose her fear. My trainer says that Rosalind ( her name ) lets her fear overwhelm her instinct to please. She is smart by the way., and comes to me for affection.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Looking at the time after 1014 can the Republican controlled states divide up their states electorates by voting districts? If so, what can we do to avoid this?
