I think you are missing the point . ....

,... the point is that hillary has wide, deep and strong support amongst Democrats and independents, including those here on DU, who are not billionaires , millionaires, 1 percenters, oligarchs , wall street economic criminals or any of the other supposed riff-raff that she is accused of being subservient to.

That support amoung those good people is due to their justified belief that hillary will best serve their interests and the best interest of our country as a whole. Slander and vilification for what amounts to be nothing more than running an effective broad-based campaign for the presidency is, imho, petty and lame.

Clinton opens 31 point lead....

Clinton, judged winner of debate, holds big national lead over Sanders

http://wapo.st/1Gfstue

By a wide margin, Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents rated Clinton over Sanders as the winner of last week’s debate in Las Vegas.

Clinton currently leads the Democratic race with the support of 54 percent of registered Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents. .... Sanders runs second at 23 percent, almost identical to his September number.

More than seven in 10 Democrats say that Clinton has the best chance of the party’s candidates to win the general election..... Just one in five cite Sanders as the party’s strongest candidate.

Down at the bottom are links to the full report and suplimentary material.

As I said, this was a wide ranging study, the summary that focuses on TPP is here:

Finally , here is a summary of American attitudes to "free" trade agreements in general:

Showdown - How the South’s Public Enemy No. 1 climbed onto the Supreme Court

Showdown by Wil Haygood, How the South’s Public Enemy No. 1 climbed onto the Supreme Court

http://wapo.st/1iVmu32

Marshall’s “titanic achievement,” as Haygood reminds us, was the 1954 landmark case Brown v. Board of Education, “which outlawed the separate-but-equal doctrine that had been the law of the land and ordered the desegregation of public schools.” With this, Marshall, already well known, ascended to heights rare in a profession not often seen as producing heroes — lawyer jokes and ambivalence about us abound. The Baltimore-born, Lincoln University and Howard Law School-educated attorney became a hero to millions and remains so to this day.

I haven't read this book, but the review makes it sound interesting.

Hillary Rodham Clinton: Hard Core Liberal . ....

Yep, it's the objective truth based on scientific evidence and beyond any doubt ! Here is the graph to prove it:

Details here:http://www.ontheissues.org/VoteMatch/candidate_map.asp?a1=1&a2=1&a3=1&a4=4&a9=1&a16=5&a10=5&a5=5&a7=4&a8=5&a14=1&a15=2&a17=2&a19=4&a18=4&a6=1&a20=4&a11=1&a12=4&a13=1&i1=1&i2=1&i3=1&i4=1&p=80&e=10&t=21

For comparison , here is Bernie's assesment:

Granted, also a hard core liberal - but what's that shift away from populism and towards libertarianism all about?

The Strategic Victory over Kim Davis....

Putting Kim Davis in jail for her defiance of the court and the rule of law could have been a mistake. She could have become a "martyr for the cause". And simply fining her would not have been a deterrent - she would have still been able to carry on her defiance .

But the judge made a strategic move. By rounding up the other clerks and letting them know they would face the same, by ensuring that there was a significant number that would issue licenses, he nutered her effort.

Since the licenses are being issued the drama of conflict has been eliminated and people will simply lose interest in her and her disposition. The end. Victory!
