Is Trump seriously running?

What's the DU verdict? Does Trump think he really could be President? Or is he planning on dropping out, to enjoy the attention and opportunities that having run will give him?

I can't figure him out. Sometimes I think he's smart enough to know being President is difficult, to say the least, but other times I think he's delusional enough to believe he COULD do the job happily.

Some updates on Sam Dubose

2 police officers who responded to the scene both claimed, in formal reports, that they saw the firing officer, Ray Tensing, being dragged by Dubose's car, but video from the Tensing's own body cam does not show him being dragged by a car! Mysterious!

Tensing was charged with murder Wednesday. He pleaded not guilty Thursday morning.

Bond was set at $1 million. A bond deposit of 10 percent of that amount was posted and Tensing was released from jail at about 6:35 p.m. Thursday , according to court records and officials.

The officers who responded were also involved in the killing in an unarmed black man in 2010 (see Guardian link)

Jon Stewart told Daily Show writer to "f*** off" after racial conversation

A former correspondent and writer for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” has disclosed that he and its host, Jon Stewart, engaged in a heated argument about a segment perceived as racially insensitive. In his recounting, the correspondent, Wyatt Cenac, who is black, said Mr. Stewart became defensive and frequently shouted expletives.

I never liked Jon, and it's never been a secret that he's an asshole who reacts poorly to being challenged.

Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby in "Vogue Magazine" enrages

People are upset because they assume she is posing for fashion stories like a model, when it is one photo (by Annie Leibovitz) accompanying an article about Mosby. Vogue regularly carries articles about politicians and their spouses (both Obamas, Hillary, Elizabeth Warren, Wendy Davis, the Castro brothers, Cindy McCain) and people like Sarah Harrison of Wikileaks, Gabby Giffords, Alex Wagner, Rachel Maddow, Cecile Richards).
