TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - After immigration enforcement operations happened in the Big Bend this week, Tallahassee immigration attorney Neil Rambana said he has seen increased fear among people living and working in the Big Bend who, otherwise, have not feared being deported.

Rambana said undocumented residents must know their rights, and understand when consent should and should not be given.

He said if you’re approached by an agent, you can let them know you are exercising your right to remain silent and you are requesting to speak with an attorney.

More importantly, Rambana said officials must have a search warrant or an arrest warrant and both need to be signed by a judge.

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman to meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman will become the chamber’s first Democrat to meet with President-elect Donald Trump since the election and plans to travel to Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

The trip marks Fetterman’s continuing evolution from a leading surrogate for President Joe Biden into a Trump-friendly lawmaker since Trump won the premier battleground state of Pennsylvania in November.

Fetterman since has shown surprising warmth to Trump, complimenting his political appeal, agreeing with him on some policies and embracing some of Trump’s would-be Cabinet nominees.

Fetterman said in a statement Thursday that Trump invited him to meet and that he accepted.

I saw Instant Karma on an aggressive driver last night.

I was on my way to work on a three lane city road. The speed limit was 45 and in the left lane we were traveling at a respectable 50-52 mph. From behind I saw a tiny sports car weaving in and out of traffic, trying to beat the group of cars. I heard them revving their little sports car engine and they ended up behind me. They tail gated me so close that I couldn't see their lights. I was gritting my teeth because that annoys me to no end! Our lane of cars moved forward enough so that the aggressive sports car could maneuver into the middle lane and then they revved up to get into the right lane and sped forward. Probably 70 to 80 mph.

I was seriously thinking of calling 911 to report this aggressive driver because they were going to cause a wreck. Then, lmao, the car two cars ahead of me put on their blue lights and pulled the asshole over. Speeding is one thing, but aggressive driving is a dangerous.

Prevalence of Gender-Affirming Surgical Procedures Among Minors and Adults in the US.

In this cross-sectional study of a national insured population in 2019, there were no gender-affirming procedures conducted on TGD minors aged 12 years and younger, and procedures on TGD minors older than 12 were rare and almost entirely chest-related procedures.

Thus, these findings suggest that concerns around high rates of gender-affirming surgery use, specifically among TGD minors, may be unwarranted. Low use by TGD people likely reflects adherence to stringent standards of gender-affirming care.
