(CNN)Rick Perry on Thursday slammed Republican presidential rival Donald Trump for "a toxic mix of demagoguery and nonsense" on immigration and said he has a "fundamental misunderstanding" about securing the border.
"What Mr. Trump is offering is not conservatism, it is Trump-ism -- a toxic mix of demagoguery and nonsense," the former Texas governor said in a statement.

New pictures relayed by the first spacecraft to visit distant Pluto show odd polygon-shaped features and smooth hills in an crater-free plain, indications that the icy world is geologically active, New Horizons scientists said on Friday.

Texas Says Clerks Can Deny Gay Couples Marriage Licenses? Send U.S. Marshals in.
This is ridiculous. The Supreme Court has ruled. End of story.
Any counties confirmed to have denied marriage licenses to same-sex couples on the day after the deadline to comply should be given 24-hours to comply with the law with the understanding that armed U.S. Marshals will be on the ground in those counties to make sure they are complying with federal law. And arrest the Texas AG for violating federal law and encouraging others to do the same.
Gay couples should be escorted by U.S. Marshals wherever they are still being denied their equal right to marry under federal law, which trumps any state laws or state constitutional amendments. The conservatives don't get to keep ignoring reality just because they don't like it.
How many people are we going to allow to continue to be denied their civil rights on marriage? For how long? How many more gay couples have to die or see their partner die before they can get married? And for what? So these conservative bigots can have their "religious freedom" to hate?
Conservatives are on the wrong side of history. They are like stagnant water - putrid.

WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari): President Barack Obama announced today America's public schools will be introduced to the old "Duck and Cover" film and begin duck and cover drills starting at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year. The decision comes only two days after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Russia would be constructing over 40 new nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) by the end of 2015.

INDIANA POLICE ARREST MOTHER INVOLVED IN VICIOUS WALMART FIGHT
Police arrested Amber Stephenson, 34, on preliminary charges of child neglect, a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor.
The video, posted to YouTube on June 4, shows Stephenson begin fighting with Rebecca Mills, 39. Stephenson can be heard telling her 6-year-old son to hit Mills in the face. The child complies and is seen hitting Mills with his fists and with shampoo bottles.
There were several onlookers who watched the fight, but none of them stepped in to stop it.

WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari): Earlier today, the Republican Party announced a bold new community outreach initiative named the Say Good Bye to Mommy and/or Daddy Program. Called simply the Say Good Bye Program, it involves each Republican in Congress personally informing the US citizen children of illegal immigrants they must "say good bye" to one or both of their parents.

If a child who is an American citizen is left with no guardian after deportations a state's child protection program will take custody. The Say Good Bye Program does not apply to children who are illegal immigrants themselves and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) stated, "those kids are illegal persons and gone."

In related news, Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) has stopped visiting the homes of illegal immigrants after several complaints he was "visibly drunk and singing La Cucaracha."

Consider this: Carly Fiorina, a onetime CEO of a large computer company (now polling at 2%) is suddenly showing up outside Hillary Clinton events to grab the attention of the gathered press corps. And how does she do it? By staging an "availability" in which she takes on Clinton, completely unprovoked. As if to say: I am woman, hear me roar -- at another woman, as only I can. (We've come a long way, baby.) So please notice me -- which we are.

Obama wanted to keep about 10K troops in Iraq (which I admit is lower than what the Pentagon and Iraq wanted at the time), but the Iraqis would not drop their demand to have the right to charge and prosecute U.S. soldiers for crimes under their law (which George W. Bush allowed to be put in the agreement negotiated right before he left office).
The United States was not going to stay unless our troops had immunity. It tried to renegotiate that component, but the Maliki government said 'no.'
Below is a PDF of the Status of Forces Agreement negotiated by George W. Bush right before he left office, which gave Iraq authority to charge and prosecute our people.
