Bernie Rocks Buffalo. He Also Did Something Else. Visiting Local 1122

Sanders turned out a huge crowd. He also took a notable detour

I sincerely hope that nobody has a problem with this post....

Before Bernie Sanders spoke to over 11,000 people on Monday at the University of Buffalo, he made a brief unscheduled stop. The crowd in the alumni arena was more diverse than most Sanders rallies—not as diverse as Buffalo itself, a city where non-Hispanic whites are in the minority, but with a greater number of black and brown faces than I’d seen in other rallies in other parts of the country. And like every Sanders rally I’ve been to, the crowd was happy to be there, shouting “Ber-nie! Ber-nie!” at every rumor of the candidate’s appearance, and gleefully taking selfies of one another before, during, and after Sanders’s 90 minute speech.

The audience at Sanders’s first stop was a lot quieter, a lot older, a lot whiter—and a whole lot smaller. They were pleased to see Sanders, but there was no mistaking the scene at Local 1122 of the Communications Workers of America for a rock concert or a sporting event. These were 25 shop stewards at Verizon who had to prepare their members to go on strike on Wednesday morning, and the mood in the room was a mixture of anxiety and defiant anger.

“It’s getting old, having to fight just to keep our jobs,” said Larry Turner, a 25 year veteran. “Ever since the merger with Bell Atlantic it seems like we have to keep fighting just to stay in place. They were supposed to be building FiOS here in Buffalo and they just stopped.”

When Sanders arrived, the stewards, who had been discussing the likelihood that Verizon would try to discipline or discharge members, interrupted their strategy session to listen to the man Larry Cohen, the former president of the union who now leads Labor for Bernie, told them had always had their backs. “I want to thank you for standing up to the outrageous greed of corporate America,” Sanders told them, pointing out that Verizon had booked $ 39 Billion in profits over the past three years. The company recently bid billions for the loss-making Yahoo—yet continues to demand its workers pay more for their health coverage.

Bernie Foils Attempted "Hatchet Job" By CBS Face The Nation Host John Dickerson With Great Skill

CBS News Face The Nation host John Dickerson, a CHOREOGRAPHER for The Establishment and Hillary Clinton, was foiled in his bid today to try and hang Bernie Sanders out to dry. ( EVERY time Bernie is on FTN, he knows what is coming...)

Instead Bernie turned the tables with rapier like political agility and won the day.

Daily News Bullshit! Contesting Election Crap... (Basically, when are you going to call it and jump in line behind Hillary?)

Sorry Establishment Cronies... (Dickerson, Maddow, Matthews... and the list goes on... ) It Ain't Over Yet!

A Political Revolutuion In The Making? The Pieces May Well Be Falling Into Place!

It's happening... and Clinton may well be unable to stop it... Could... "We The People" Finally Achieve REAL CHANGE?

Media coverage of Sanders is starting to shift from dismissive to grudging respect...

There is also starting to be a change in how the Sanders campaign is getting covered in the corporate media. In Pennsylvania, the state’s main newspaper, the Philadelphia Inquirer, has been consistently dismissive of the Sanders campaign, but the morning after the Temple rally, the paper’s front page featured a large photo showing a crush of young supports struggling to shake Sanders’ hand over a headline that read “Sanders stirs a frenzy in visit to Temple.”

As the Sanders campaign continues to surge (he’s now won seven of the last eight primary contests, all by landslides or even by tsunami margins), and as polls in states like Pennsylvania and New York where he was once down by 30-40 points, narrow to low single digits weeks before the next round of primaries, Clinton’s team, increasingly desperate to turn things around, is reportedly shifting to a campaign strategy of “disqualify him, defeat him, and unify the party later.”

Even cops’ kids are backing Bernie

As we were heading back to our car with from the rally, my wife and I found ourselves walking behind the head of Temple University’s police department, which had largely handled the security and traffic issues caused by the huge all-day line of people coming to attend the rally. A tall crew-cut wearing guy who looked 100% cop, when we complemented him on how his officers had handled the crowd management issue, he told us his own 21-year-old son was a “Bernie supporter.” SNIP

WHAT IF?

But what if, as seems increasingly likely, Trump goes to the Republican convention with the largest number of delegates but not an absolute majority, and then at a brokered convention, party leaders install an alternative candidate — either Ted Cruz or perhaps a more “acceptable” candidate? Trump has already warned that he might in that case run as an independent or third party candidate — something he clearly has the support and the money to do.

At that point we’d have a three-way race between Clinton, a Republican and Trump. What would Sanders do then? His backers, who have already provided his campaign with over $140 million in small donations and seem to be a bottomless well of support, will be calling for him to run too. Perhaps he would. If it came to that, perhaps the Green Party should consider the bold idea of making him its standard bearer — a move that would assure his already high-flying campaign a place on the ballot in virtually every state, and that would simultaneously suddenly catapult the Green Party from an election footnote capable of winning a percent or two of votes to a major-league party vying for the top prize (and maybe some seats in Congress into the bargain).

Maybe that’s a fantasy, but it’s a beautiful one, entailing as it would the decimation of the two massively corrupt parties that have conspired to stymie political change in the US for generations. SNIP

Climate Change.. New York! Is Hillary's Integrity With Respect To Climate Change A Concern?

If you read this article one can certainly be given pause to consider whether Hillary does in fact have...
"integrity" on Climate Change.

As Secretary of State, Hillary SOLD FRACKING to the WORLD... LITERALLY!
http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/09/hillary-clinton-fracking-shale-state-department-chevron

One icy morning in February 2012, Hillary Clinton's plane touched down in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, which was just digging out from a fierce blizzard. Wrapped in a thick coat, the secretary of state descended the stairs to the snow-covered tarmac, where she and her aides piled into a motorcade bound for the presidential palace...

Watch Bernie's Facial Expression As Hillary Cobbles Together A Response...

We Need A President With INTEGRITY! BERNIE SANDERS IS THAT PRESIDENT!

Yet Hillary Portrays Herself As A Climate Change Advocate in the interview with Chuck Todd today!

NICE JOB Chuck! On Meet The Press "The Queen Of Obfuscation Speaks... But Says NOTHING...

FINALLY.. Legit JOURNALISM FOR ONCE! . Chuck Todd (NOT TOAD) in this case actually put the "Inevitable One" back on her heels!

He asked her about her meltdown.
.. No Answer just circuitous babble...

He asked her about TRANSCRIPTS... More diversionary babble...

He asked her about FBI inquiry... This one really stunned her...
You could sense with her the blood rushing either to her head or her feet!

So if people want a President who cannot and will not answer a question when put to her directly...

You have to wonder what it is they are looking for in a leader....

I am certain that the video will be available later today...

"If She Wins We Lose!" Clinton Frustration Grows As Primary race drags On!

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Hillary Clinton snapped at a Greenpeace protester. She linked Bernie Sanders and tea party Republicans. And she bristled with anger when nearly two dozen Sanders supporters marched out of an event near her home outside New York City, shouting "if she wins, we lose."

"They don't want to listen to anyone else," she shot back. "We actually have to do something. Not just complain about what is happening."

After a year of campaigning, months of debates and 35 primary elections, Sanders is finally getting under Clinton's skin in the Democratic presidential race.

Clinton has spent weeks largely ignoring Sanders and trying to focus on Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Now, after several primary losses and with a tough fight in New York on the horizon, Clinton is showing flashes of frustration with the Vermont senator — irritation that could undermine her efforts to unite the party around her candidacy.

According to Democrats close to Hillary and former President Bill Clinton, both are frustrated by Sanders' ability to cast himself as above politics-as-usual even while firing off what they consider to be misleading attacks. The Clintons are even more annoyed that Sanders' approach seems to be rallying — and keeping — young voters by his side. SNIP

PROPAGANDA ALERT: LYING WITH NUMBERS!!! According to an Associated Press analysis, Sanders must win 67 percent of the remaining delegates and uncommitted superdelegates — party leaders and officials who can support any candidate — through June to be able to clinch the Democratic nomination. So far he's only winning 37 percent. SNIP PRESS CONFLATING SUPER DELEGATES WITH PLEDGED DELEGATES IN ORDER TO GET TO THAT BOGUS 67% number!

While Hillary Clinton's team contends her lock on the nomination as "nearly insurmountable," the campaign frequently grumbles that Sanders hasn't faced the same level of scrutiny as the former secretary of state, New York senator and first lady. Her aides complain about Sanders' rhetoric, claiming he's broken his pledge to avoid character attacks by going after her paid speeches and ties to Wall Street, and they point to scenes of Sanders supporters booing Clinton's name at his rallies. SNIP BS ALERT... SANDERS never PLEDGED TO SAVE HILLARY FROM HERSELF... BY ABSTAINING FROM ALLOWING THE TRUTH TO BE KNOWN ABOUT HILLARY!

Actress Rosario Dawson's 15-minute speech at a New York City rally on Thursday, (See It Below) in which she rallied the crowd by crying "shame on you, Hillary" and noted that Clinton could soon face an FBI interview over the email controversy while at the State Department, underscored the growing tensions between the campaigns. SNIP

Near the conclusion of Ms Dawson's speech she spoke about the danger to Net Neutrality that Clinton presents as in "THEY" do not like us to be able to communicate and organize....

THE INTERNET IS OUR LAST REMAINING TOOL THAT FACILITATES ORGANIZATION BY THE PEOPLE AGAINST THE CORPORATIST THREATS TO OUR COLLECTIVE WELL BEING THAT ARE POSED BY THE "ESTABLISHMENT."

On Saturday, the bickering was about a possible debate before the New York primary April 19. Clinton's campaign accused Sanders' of playing "political games" by rejecting three specific dates; the Sanders team was hopeful of an agreement soon. The dates were ridiculous e.g., NCAA Final Four Game With Syracuse was one date proposed by Clinton!

Sanders Campaign Fires Back After Cinton Says That Bernie Is Lying!

"Bernie Sanders’ campaign is firing back at Hillary Clinton after she said she was “so sick” of them lying about her contributions from the fossil fuel industry.

Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, on Friday called Clinton’s statement “disappointing” and untrue, pointing to research from Greenpeace that shows she’s not just receiving money from “individuals” who happen to work in the oil, coal and gas industry, but from 57 industry lobbyists, including 11 who have bundled more than $1 million to help put her in the White House.
Counting money given to super PACs backing Clinton, the fossil fuel industry has donated more than $4.5 million in support of Clinton’s bid, he said in a statement.
“If the Clinton campaign wants to argue that industry lobbyists giving thousands of dollars to her campaign won’t affect her decisions if she’s elected, that’s fine,” he said. “But to call us liars for pointing out basic facts about the secretary’s fundraising is deeply cynical and very disappointing.”"

Hillary is having a terrible wee
k.

********************************
Hillary's position on special interest money, "Obama took it too" and "everybody has".....may be true, but it's just not resonating this election cycle, with the main message. Enough, is enough, is ENOUGH! GO BERNIE!
