Pulitzer Prize Board members filed court documents in Okeechobee County, Florida, on Thursday, containing a litany of broad discovery demands in an attempt to beat back President Donald Trump's defamation lawsuit over Russia probe reporting awards.

The board defendants are demanding documentation on subjects ranging from Trump's demands to rescind the awards, to his threats to sue, to proof that the board statement at issue "had a significant impact on the 2020 presidential election," and to Trump's various lawsuits

The defendants further demanded "all" of Trump's tax returns — "from all jurisdictions, including all attachments, schedules, and worksheets" — from 2015 to the present day, documents "sufficient to show all sources of Your income" over the same time period, documents "sufficient to show all of Your financial holdings" and his liabilities, and finally his health records and prescription medication history.

Hegseth 2016 : Saying there should be consequences for people who commit war crimes

Here’s Pete Hegseth in 2016 saying there should be consequences for people who commit war crimes—that members of the military shouldn’t follow illegal orders from the President: “If you’re doing something that is just completely unlawful and ruthless, then there is a consequence for that. That’s why the military said it won’t follow unlawful orders from their commander in chief.” 🤔

By Trump's own formula, he's pardoning a man who "killed" 5 million Americans.

"Trump says every “drug boat” equals 25,000 American lives saved.

@JuanOrlandoH trafficked 400 tons of cocaine — the equivalent of ~200 drug boats.

By Trump’s own formula, he just pardoned a man who “killed” 5 million Americans."

Ex-Reform UK Wales leader accused of taking Russian bribes

The former leader of Reform UK in Wales has appeared in court accused of accepting bribes in exchange for making statements in the European Parliament that would benefit Russia, a court has heard.

Nathan Gill, 51, from Llangefni on Anglesey, is facing eight counts of bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.

The court heard that Mr Gill, who was a UKIP and later a Brexit Party MEP between 2014 and 2020, was alleged to have received money from his co-defendant and former Ukrainian politician Oleg Voloshyn.

The defendant is alleged to have been tasked by Mr Voloshyn on at least eight occasions to make specific statements in return for money.

Barrister Richard Link for the CPS told the court that Mr Gill agreed to make statements in the European Parliament for money, that would "tend to benefit Russia in relation to events in Ukraine at that time".

The Crown said the alleged offences were carried out during Mr Gill's time as an MEP and before the UK left the European Parliament, on 31 January 2020.
