"Obama's golf game disrupts soldiers' wedding"
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/obamas-golf-game-disrupts-soldiers-154339830.html
I don't believe Obama would do this if he had known what was going on. So my question is why the hell do is support staff (ie. event coordinators/whoever the heck handles the logistics of these things) NOT tell him that his golf game is going to wreck the wedding that 2 armed service members had scheduled??
I mean god damn... they invite him to the wedding, get told he can't make it, then get told their wedding has to be moved to their base since Obama will be golfing where they had planned for the wedding to happen... wow, really great work there support staff and PR people... Foxnews will have a field day with this tonight.
More bad stuff in the latest budget plan
Additional non-sense chipping away at the limits put on super rich campaign donors.

sigh... I guess at least the hillary supporters will be happy
I'm going to the mall today
And if anyone tells me "merry christmas" after buying a couple christmas presents I am going to return that insult right back at them. We can play their game too... they'll never see it coming. Time to fight fire with fire!
How many were shot during the Ferguson riot?
Because I saw an OP here a few days ago saying how white people in the area were getting ready to "go to war" by buying a bunch of guns. I can't find that OP anymore
30 second video of Syrian boy dodging sniper bullets and
playing dead for a bit in order to get his sister to safety. So sad that a boy would ever have to do such things. And why in the hell is a sniper taking shots at a boy and a young girl?? Geez...

Governor to pardon son for felony drug conviction
From what the article says, the son was convicted of having marijuana (which is by itself, but thats another topic). Isnt this just being a little hypocritical? The governor says his son should be treated like anyone else who wants a second chance at life... so why is he not pardoning ALL people who have felony marijuana charges???
Anyway, thought it was an interesting story.

Fed ends 6-year effort to stimulate economy
If this goes down as reported, there may be a massive stock market correction tomorrow. Of course the big banks already know and probably positioned themselves to make money off it.
God help the ~65ish year olds with 403(b)'s and a financial adviser who convinced them to keep all their savings in stocks.
Personally I believe a correction needs to happen. I just wish it wouldn't overly punish the individual investor after all the huge investment/trading banks got bailed out. I am very interested to see what happens tomorrow.

So we do the right thing by getting hybrids, then...
https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/california-readies-pay-as-you-drive-tax-test-175305098.htmlFrom the article:
"The move makes California the largest state to explore how modern technology might replace the dwindling money from gasoline taxes used to build and maintain roads, thanks to ever-more efficient vehicles and less driving overall. Congress has been forced to fill the gap at the federal level with billions of dollars in temporary funding; in California, where residents pay 48.5 cents on the gallon in state gasoline taxes worth more than $3 billion a year, the state has borrowed from those revenues in recent years to cover shortfalls elsewhere."
Oook, so we did the right thing and got more fuel efficient, we already pay a higher gas tax than other states for "cleaner gasoline", and now here is the real kicker. The higher taxes we have been paying in order to maintain and build roads, were borrowed in order to cover other budget shortfalls... so now they want to tax every mile we drive... call me a god damn prophet, but I foresee them using this new tax to also pay for OTHER SHIT than road building and repair.
This may not be a second thought for people with good public transit (ie. san francisco, new york), but its pissing me off in LA
Bombs away!
http://news.yahoo.com/white-house-exempts-syria-airstrikes-from-tight-standards-on-civilian-deaths-183724795.html
The White House has acknowledged for the first time that strict standards President Obama imposed last year to prevent civilian deaths from U.S. drone strikes will not apply to U.S. military operations in Syria and Iraq.
A White House statement to Yahoo News confirming the looser policy came in response to questions about reports that as many as a dozen civilians, including women and young children, were killed when a Tomahawk missile struck the village of Kafr Daryan in Syria's Idlib province on the morning of Sept. 23.
