TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Protesters in Iran, angered by the execution by Saudi Arabia of a prominent Shiite cleric, broke into the Saudi embassy in Tehran early Sunday, setting fires and throwing papers from the roof, Iranian media reported.

In Tehran, the crowd gathered outside the Saudi embassy and chanted anti-Saudi slogans. Some protesters threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the embassy, setting off a fire in part of the building, Sajedinia told the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

"Some of them entered the embassy. Currently, individuals who entered the embassy have been transferred out (of the building). However, a large crowd is still there in front of the embassy," Sajedinia told ISNA early Sunday.

The black king is gone - anyone notice?

I looked all over for him this Christmas since my racist brother threw out the black king in my mantle Christmas nativity set.

I saw tons of nativities in plenty of stores but every person in the scene was white in all of them.

He's supposed to represent the king from the south - Africa. The other kings are from the east and west and the forth king is supposed to be Christ - the king of the north - the other kings follow the north star to come to him - the new born king.

But no, America is too racist to allow a black king in the nativity this year. The black king has been replaced by a safe white king. The meaning is gone.

Anyone else notice?

Snohomish Co. officers help homeless man get food & shelter on Christmas Day

Source: Kiro7news

Officers responded to a McDonalds in Everett for reports of a disturbance.

When they arrived, they found Carl, a homeless man, upset—because his electric wheelchair was out of power and he needed to use the bathroom.

One of the responding deputies found an open business where Carl could use the bathroom and also charge his wheelchair. Two deputies then pushed Carl up the street—where they gave him bottled water and food.

How Trump is breathing life into dying white supremacist movement

Source: Washington Post

"Making friends is no easy task for modern white nationalists. In an era of gay marriage and a black president, more than a half-century after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 became law, separatists can’t exactly swan dive into conversations with strangers about the white-power cause. But Rachel Pendergraft - the national organizer for the Knights Party, a standard-bearer for the Ku Klux Klan - told The Washington Post that the KKK, for one, has a new conversation starter at its disposal. You might call it a “Trump card.”

Vet put a tight tourniquet instead of a bandaid on my cat's paw

My cat had her teeth pulled yesterday - they put her under to do it. When I picked her up they said they put a bandaid on her and take it off in 2 hours. I let her out of her carrier at home and she ran under the bed. I left her alone - after all it was supposed to only be a bandaid.

This morning I got her out to give her medicine and take off that bandaid and found her foot completely swollen and it was in a double wrapped tourniquet that was so tight I had a big problem cutting it off- no room for tiny embroidery scissors under there. I got it off but her foot is still huge and her leg near her foot is tiny. That foot is at least 2 times the size of the other or bigger -she went back under the bed so I don't know if it's 3 times the size. I'm horrified the vet put that on her.

It was to stop bleeding from the blood work they did to see if it was safe to put her under. Has anyone else dealt with this? I don't know if I'm to wait it out or I should be rushing her to an animal hospital. And, I have to get to work - a 2 hours commute.

I looked up a few things on line and the vet should not have constricted her blood like that. I see that they recommend people don't put bandages on animals because they're liable to get them too tight.

Has anyone had experience with this? Is your animal alright?
