The Best Democracy That $5,000,000,000 Can Buy!

I trust you all are familiar with the five-billion dollar price tag that - according to US Undersecretary Victoria "f*ck the EU" Nuland - was the cost of our "support of democracy" in the Ukraine prior to the coup in 2013. Given that many in the government have strong ties to the Neo-Nazi Svoboda and Right-Sector movements, it should come as no surprise that official parliamentary and cabinet proceedings get out of hand (there's some translation for second video below. One of the two protagonists, former Georgia President Mikhail Saakashvili, is wanted on charges of corruption in that country).

00:01 AVAKOV: Mikhail Grigorievich, I’m reacting to the things you’ve said

00:04 AVAKOV: I’ve written some of them here

00:05 AVAKOV: I paid close attention to your speech

00:07 AVAKOV: and summary regarding… that was happening on your Odessa…

00:12 AVAKOV: anti-corruption forum

00:13 AVAKOV: You are speaking softer now

00:15 AVAKOV: I don’t get it

00:16 AVAKOV: You said that the cabinet of ministers itself was heading the corruption

00:19 AVAKOV: You stated that without proofs, you stated that loud and clear

00:23 AVAKOV: explicitly

00:23 SAAKASHVILI: With lots of proofs

00:24 AVAKOV: Maybe let me finish first and then you’ll answer?

00:25 SAAKASHVILI: With lots of proofs

00:27 SAAKASHVILI: With lots of proofs and I’m going to find even more proofs

00:29 SAAKASHVILI: and inform general public about it

00:30 AVAKOV: Mr. President, I’ve got a favor to ask from you, are we maintaining the order here?

00:33 SAAKASHVILI: …what do you mean I’m softer? Yes, your Martinenko is a criminal

00:35 AVAKOV: How do you usually speak in such cases?

00:37 AVAKOV: Be-be-be-be-be, like that, right?

00:39 SAAKASHVILI: What do you mean?

00:40 SAAKASHVILI: Be-be-be-be, no one has ever spoken to me like this!

00:43 AVAKOV: I’m going to speak to you like this!

00:44 SAAKASHVILI: I don’t give a damn about how you are going to speak to me

00:46 AVAKOV: Then get the damn out of here if you don’t give a damn

00:48 Poroshenko: Arsen Borisovich, I’m…

00:50 SAAKASHVILI: I’m calling you to politeness

00:53 AVAKOV: Shut up

00:54 SAAKASHVILI: Unlike you I don’t have millions and billions

00:56 AVAKOV: I’m not speaking for you

00:57 SAAKASHVILI: No, I’m repeating it

00:58 AVAKOV: You’ll answer for your billions somewhere else

1:00 SAAKASHVILI: My… regarding my billions, Russia already attempted to find them. Look for them properly

1:05 AVAKOV: I.. I.. SAAKASHVILI: Look for them!

1:07 SAAKASHVILI: Look for them!

1:08 POROSHENKO: Everybody… I…

1:09 POROSHENKO: Stop it everyone!

1:11 SAAKASHVILI: I’m not going to tolerate such words from a corrupt minister

1:13 AVAKOV: Shut up, you corrupt governor

1:16 SAAKASHVILI: What?

1:17 POROSHENKO: I’m asking…

1:17 AVAKOV: What you heard!

1:19 AVAKOV: f4cking thief

1:21 POROSHENKO: Arsen Borisovich

1:22 POROSHENKO: May you avoid usage of the obscene language?

1:23 AVAKOV: Was there an obscene language?

1:25 POROSHENKO: Yes, there was

1:27 POROSHENKO: Alright, Arseniy Petrovich [Yatsenuk], please…

1:29 AVAKOV: I’d like to finish

1:31 POROSHENKO: Then I ask you to keep to the topic of the speech

1:34 POROSHENKO: not to the comments

1:36 POROSHENKO: The scene is yours, Arsen Borisovich

1:39 AVAKOV: When we are speaking about the whole list of things that have been said

1:42 AVAKOV: Of course privatization

1:44 AVAKOV: Of course a total privatization

1:46 AVAKOV: including OPZ [Odessa Port Plant]

1:49 AVAKOV: In order to, among the other things, maximize bring to the bright light and privatize the entire OPZ

1:56 AVAKOV: So, I have a question

1:57 AVAKOV: Are you, Mr. Saakashvili, preventing the privatization of the OPZ with your actions or not?

2:03 SAAKASHVILI: I’m not going to discuss anything with you after your words

2:06 SAAKASHVILI: After your words I’ll be debating with you only publicly

2:10 SAAKASHVILI: I’ll prove that you personally are a thief!

2:12 SAAKASHVILI: I’ll prove that indeed that cabinet of ministers is heading the corruption

2:17 SAAKASHVILI: And I will… No one… I will never allow… I… unlike you, I don’t have money

2:20 SAAKASHVILI: But instead I have a conscience and the reputation!

2:22 SAAKASHVILI: I’m not going to tolerate some Avakov, who’s a thief…

2:26 SAAKASHVILI: Who everyone knows he’s controlling the [corruption] schemes!

2:29 SAAKASHVILI: to speak to Saakashvili in such a manner

2:31 SAAKASHVILI: I have nothing… but my reputation

2:32 SAAKASHVILI: And I’m not going… not going to tolerate some corrupt minister

2:36 SAAKASHVILI: who, the entire country knows he’s a thief

2:38 SAAKASHVILI: the entire country knows…

2:39 POROSHENKO: Vitaliy Vasilievich…

2:40 SAAKASHVILI: The entire country knows what are you doing

2:41 POROSHENKO: Arsen!

2:42 SAAKASHVILI: …knows that are you doing

2:45 SAAKASHVILI: the entire country knows

2:46 AVAKOV: I need to punch him or something?

3:25 AVAKOV: Shithead

3:26 SAAKASHVILI: I was invited to the country to accomplish the tasks

Hillary Clinton was first to rush to Sanders’ defense at the third Democratic debate

MANCHESTER, NH (AP) - Hillary Clinton was first to rush to Sanders’ defense at the third Democratic debate in Manchester, New Hampshire.

"Let me say something that may not be great politics. I think the Senator is right," Clinton interjected. “And that is that the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn data thieves."

"Thank you... me too, me too," Sanders said as the audience roared.

Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign is preparing new mailers to be sent in the coming weeks, making the following examples from 2008 pale in comparison:

Clinton's notion of a “no fly” zone is gone: Russia got there first

In spite of the incessant drone of “Assad Must Go” from Obama, Clinton, and Kerry over these last several years, it looks like Assad will stay for now.

With deployment of the ground-based S-400 (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-34976537) now covering 75% of Syria (part of Turkey as well subsequent to their downing of the Russian bomber), it appears the US and Russia may be on the verge of a new détente emanating from within their common goal of defeating ISIS/IS/ISIL.

Ironic that – in spite of the evidence that the US was posturing to foment “regime change” as early as 2006 (http://www.truth-out.org/progressivepicks/item/33180-wikileaks-reveals-how-the-us-aggressively-pursued-regime-change-in-syria-igniting-a-bloodbath) – John Kerry now tells Moscow reporters that, “The United States and our partners are not seeking so-called regime change." (http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/12/15/world/europe/ap-eu-russia-us.html).

However, what immense suffering has been wrought in the Middle East, and still continues. What a terrible, terrible waste of humanity.

Well, will this be the beginning of the end for PNAC’s Pax Americana? If not, where will the husband-wife tag-team of Kagan and Nuland (https://consortiumnews.com/2015/03/20/a-family-business-of-perpetual-war/) venture next? And, did Kerry’s donut addiction influence US negotiations (http://foreignpolicy.com/2015/12/15/john-kerry-is-wicked-psyched-he-found-dunkin-donuts-in-moscow/)?

Stay tuned...

Turkish MP who claimed sarin gas was delivered to Isis in Syria through Turkey faces treason charges

Source: Belfast Telegraph

Ankara’s Chief Prosecutor's Office opened the case against Istanbul MP Eren Erdem of Republican People's Party (CHP) after he gave an interview to RT on Monday. "Chemical weapon materials were brought to Turkey and put together in ISIS camps in Syria, which was known as the Iraqi Al-Qaeda at that time."

On Tuesday, Erdem said he had become the target of a smear campaign and the victim of death threats because of his statements made in parliament.

What happens when major primary candidate accuses another of "having killed hundreds of thousands"?

BREAKING NEWS: MSM IGNORES TRUMP!

Now, one would think that when one major primary candidate accuses another major primary candidate of being responsible for "kill(ing) hundreds of thousands of people with her stupidity," the msm biggies like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, et.al., would take notice within the first few hours let alone into the second day:

Wallace interviews Trump on Fox (at approx.10 minutes 30 seconds):

Well, let's see about Fox News itself; nope: https://www.google.com/search?q=donald+trump+hillary+clinton+%22Killed+Hundreds+of+Thousands%22+site:foxnews.com&gbv=1&prmd=ivns&source=lnms&tbm=nws

CNN... nope: https://www.google.com/search?q=donald+trump+hillary+clinton+%22Killed+Hundreds+of+Thousands%22+site:cnn.com&gbv=1&prmd=ivns&source=lnms&tbm=nws

MSNBC... nope: https://www.google.com/search?q=donald+trump+hillary+clinton+%22Killed+Hundreds+of+Thousands%22+site:msnbc.com&gbv=1&prmd=ivns&source=lnms&tbm=nws

Etc., etc. You get the idea.

In addition to Andrew Tyndall's recent analytic presentation of the network msm "Big Three" blackout of Sanders http://tyndallreport.com, we're now faced with a prima facie case that the online msm is wholly capable of ignoring Trump (at least when it comes to overt criticism of the Secretary's hawkishness).

Well, back to the Muslims, and Mexicans, and the mic of General Electric...

p.s. Trump's contention is consistent with analyses of Libya and Syria such as:

Ignoring U.S. Destabilization of Libya, GOP Benghazi Hearing Asks Clinton All the Wrong Questions http://www.democracynow.org/2015/10/23/ignoring_us_destabilization_of_libya_gop

And remember, when the plane flew these survivors out of Benghazi to get them back to Tripoli, for every State Department official on that plane, there were five or six CIA employees. And my sources tell me that the CIA was there to buy back weapons that we had given to Gaddafi in the first place. So the question all of this begs—and this is where Hillary Clinton’s remarks did concern me—is that we created a disaster in Libya. It was the decision to conduct regime change, the decision to go after Gaddafi, which eventually led to his death. And remember, Hillary Clinton welcomed that news with the words "We came, we saw, he died."

Now, there is a link to what Putin is doing in Syria, because, remember, we had to tell the Russians that we had very limited objectives, a very limited mission in Benghazi, so that they would not veto the U.N. resolution. And then, essentially, Putin finds out that our mission really was to go after Gaddafi, creating this instability, this discontinuity, this chaos in Libya.

Bombing of Yemen's schools by Saudi Arabia-led coalition (Amnesty International)

My first post here as a new member and, please, let me know if this is not the appropriate placement in the overall forum before derision.

"Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces have carried out a series of air strikes targeting schools that were still in use, in violation of international humanitarian law, and hampering access to education for thousands of Yemen’s children, said Amnesty International in a new briefing published today. The coalition forces are armed by states including the USA and UK."

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2015/12/bombing-of-schools-by-saudi-arabia-led-coalition-in-yemen/

Unsure of what I can add to this other than the tacit support of our country as evidenced by the latest international "MIC" sale:

"The State Department has approved a $1.29 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, which includes as many as 13,000 precision guided weapons or smart bombs. The sale comes as Human Rights Watch charges that Saudi airstrikes in Yemen "have indiscriminately killed and injured civilians." (http://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2015/12/08/458959437/human-rights-groups-criticize-u-s-arms-sale-to-saudi-arabia)
