I still love President Carter
I do hope he is successful and I'm hopeful that now two former Presidents see the hypocrisy and outright evil being perpetuated against our democratic institutions.
My family was part of the Nation of Islam
And after the death of Elijah Muhammad our family who had rejected the racism in part, accepted and became more mainstream Muslims with his son Warith Deen Muhammad.
I too have rejected Farrakhan and his ilk of racism, black supremacy and anti semitism. So I stand with you and thank you for sharing.
Too Rich
As a transgender woman of color and a Navy Veteran, this latest executive policy issued by the Tangerine Tyrant leaves me beyond shocked. I'm upset and angry and I'm voting and helping Gillum in FL though I live in NY and Abrams in GA.
I'm voting like my life depends on it. Because it really does this time.

As a transgender woman of color the name calling and insults have increased for me personally and as a whole throughout the nation. I have been on hormones for nearly ten years and next year will complete more surgeries and it may well be moot if this administration defines and codified laws leading to more violence against those of us who are transgender.
