I think Immigrant Voters Will Win This Election

Huge turnout in FL and NV, and possibly NC by Latino voters. You can forget about other immigrants from the Island nations and South America and Asia coming out in huge numbers too.

The FBI Being "TrumpLand" Shouldn't Come As a Surprise

It really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. We already know LEO around the country are pro-Trump BIGLY! The FBI is the crème de le crème of LE. Look at the right-wing propaganda that comes out of the FBI about the "Ferguson Effect." Something that has been disproven by multiple sources.

I was a Bernie Supporter, then a Stein Supporter...Now I'm Voting Clinton and the FBI Made Me Do It

You can look at my DU name and see that I joined back when Bernie was still in the race. I still like Bernie and think he would've been the best option for the future of this country and progressivism in general. I was going to vote for Stein as a protest vote, and I still like her and some of her ideas, however I live in NC which could determine the election.

I've been playing it by ear over the past few weeks. I wanted to see how Clinton would do with early voting in NC and she's doing well. However I see turnout is soft in the Black community in NC so far and we shouldn't be shocked why that is. There are legitimate problems with Clinton and her ardent supporters need to be honest about that. The Democratic Party made a MAJOR gamble this election cycle that we all better hope doesn't blow up in our faces.

So...I'm voting for Clinton. Not because I really want to, but because I think Stein can get to 5% without me and this election is too important. The amount of damage that Trump can do if he gets in will be felt for a loooong time and leftists such as myself can't miss that point. I AM worried about the Supreme Court going hard right for another generation. I AM worried about the deplorables that Trump enables. I DO think Trump is a fascist...I actually think he's MORE fascist than he's letting on!! No one should be cool with a fascist, soft white supremacist becoming President. People talk about the gains we've made since the 1960's...well if Trump gets in we can just about say all those "gains" amounted to nothing in the end and we could end up losing everything we've fought for because a handful of knuckle-draggers in America wanted to take the country back to the 1950's.

The long-term future of this country is not a bright one. This goes beyond Trump and Clinton. I'm talking about how decisions are being made in this country at the highest levels. It's corroding America from the inside and it's GOT to stop!! From BOTH parties! America has problems on top of problems on top of problems. Flint, TPP, Mass Surveillance, Criminal Justice reform, climate change...SERIOUS problems and when I see the people who are supposed to LEAD us...not LEADING but instead copping pleas and making excuses and sometimes making problems even worse...yea...the future to me is bleak and grim.

I'm voting Clinton thought because it looks like she'll need my help in NC.

Onto the FBI, because the FBI was really the last straw for me. I think Comey is trying to influence the election and this is the same guy pushing the debunked "Ferguson Effect," so I'm now wondering what they have up their sleeves over there in the FBI. We already know Trump has a ton of LEO support and the FBI is an arm of LE in America. So I'm not trusting this ComeyGate controversy at all and I'm beginning to wonder if people like Comey want Trump in office so they can do what they want to do without worrying about the White House not backing them up. IDK, but as soon as this Comey story came out is when I started leaning Clinton.

Hillary Clinton's Path to Victory

So I'm checking out the interactive electoral map at 270towin.com and Hillary's path is clear. She can lose Florida and Ohio and still win. She'd have to take Virginia, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada and ONE of these 3 remaining states...either Wisconsin, Iowa or North Carolina. Her easiest win would come from Wisconsin in this hypothetical scenario...that would put her at 279. This is assuming Trump doesn't lose a red state like Georgia. There's no path to victory for Trump if he loses a long-time red state or Florida. He needs FL and likely OH to stay competitive. A loss in either of those states losses him the election most likely. Same thing goes for North Carolina. I don't see him winning Colorado or New Hampshire at all. Those aren't true toss-up states IMHO. Nevada is tight, but I'm hoping the non-White vote comes out strong there since Hillary's lead there is small according to the polling.

Hillary's path to victory is easier than Trumps and if the polls stay the way they are...she'll definitely pick off one or two purple or red states from Trump.

If Sanders can Maintain This Margin in Wayne Co. he Should Have a Narrow Win in MI

Wayne County is key to Bernie winning or losing Michigan. Clinton is likely to get a lot of support from Blacks in Detroit, but if Bernie can maintain the current margin, he should be good to go. There are still 6 precincts that aren't reporting still though. This will be close either way.

How Many Posters Here Consider Themselves to be Radical Progressives?

When I look at certain pieces of information, it appears to me that the millennial generation is full of radical progressives. Maybe that will change with age, however there's significant evidence to show that radicals on the Left are growing in number and influence within the Democratic Party. When you look at American history, the most progress we've made has come from pieces of legislation that were radical for their time.

The Truth About the Turnout Scare Among Democrats

A lot of people are worried about the low voter turnout thus far on the Democratic side. IMHO, there are 2 major factors.

1. Donald Trump. He's bringing out the racist vote in ways a standard Republican wouldn't. The Democratic Party can't really do anything about this except to expose Trump as the empty suit he really is.

2. Barack Obama. I honestly think the bigger reason to explain the low turnout is because we're coming off a fairly popular Democratic Presidency and people are tuned out of the primary battle. I think more people will turn out in the General Election.

Just my 2 cents.

It's Going To Be Tough For Bernie Supporters Over the Next 3-4 Weeks

Bernie needed a win in NV today more than Clinton because the States coming up have a lot of Black voters & she's doing extremely well with them. The race still isn't over but Bernie's message isn't resonating as much as it should be. I get the feeling a lot of voters are falling in line & believing the anti-progressive propaganda from all corners of the establishment. I think post-Obama a lot of people no longer believe like they did in 2008. I think Bernie's message is incredible & most agree with him on the issues...I'm beginning to wonder if he's the right vehicle for that message though.
