New Poll Shows Biden Trouncing Trump In 300 Swing Counties Across America 😎

A new poll shows that in key swing counties that will decide the Electoral College winner in the upcoming general election, former Vice President Joe Biden is trouncing Donald Trump

But for the president, a more troubling piece of data from the survey is that Biden leads by a whopping nine percentage points in 300 swing counties across America.

“The poll results suggest Biden may actually be starting out with an advantage in crucial swing areas of the country,” he added.
The Electoral College, not popular vote, should be the focus

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how large or small Biden’s national popular vote margin is as long as he performs well in regions of the country that decide the Electoral College winner

Joe Biden, Nominee-In-Waiting, With a Long Wait ⌛

In the three weeks since his blowout win in the South Carolina primary, Joe Biden has emerged as the Democratic presidential nominee-in-waiting. But, amid the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, put the emphasis on waiting.
Biden holds an essentially insurmountable delegate lead over his last remaining rival, Bernie Sanders, yet the Vermont senator remains in the race. And with several states delaying their primaries to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Biden can’t reach the required majority of pledged convention delegates until May or June.
The former vice president, who proudly calls himself a “tactile politician,” can’t chase those votes in public because he’s essentially confined to his Delaware home like any other American in a quasi-national quarantine. His new campaign manager and her staff are working from home,

And with several states delaying their primaries to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Biden can’t reach the required majority of pledged convention delegates until May or June

Though a lengthy primary could afford Biden media spotlights and fundraising hooks he might not otherwise get, Sanders’ lingering presence also delays any effort to unify a party that was damaged in 2016 by a long primary fight between Sanders and Hillary Clinton

Sanders was at home in Vermont on Thursday, beginning to speak to top supporters about his campaign going forward. His team understands he has virtually no chance at the nomination, but they also said Sanders wants to leave on his own terms.
Aides who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the campaign's thinking said Sanders has given them no indication of his timeline.
In a Thursday email to supporters, Sanders didn’t ask for campaign contributions for the second straight day — an indication he won’t be in the race much longer — but instead sought input on how best to combat the public health and economic effects of the coronavirus

It's over for Bernie Sanders 👴🏻

Whether or not Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders suspends his campaign for president in the coming days, he is not going to be the Democratic nominee for president in 2020.
That began to become clear two weeks ago, on the night of Super Tuesday, when Sanders was bested by former Vice President Joe Biden in Virginia, Minnesota, Texas, and several other delegate-rich states. It became even more likely a week later, when Sanders lost Michigan and Missouri by sizable margins. But it turned into a near certainty on Tuesday night with Sanders' nearly 40-point loss to Biden in Florida and his less humiliating but still substantial 23- and 13-point defeats in Illinois and Arizona, respectively

But that fleeting moment is now long gone. Things have returned to something close to political normal at a moment that is anything but. A life-long Democrat who's served as a senator for 35 years and vice president for eight is going to be the party's nominee. And the socialist insurgent is going to lose — regardless of whether he does the sensible thing and quickly bows out in response to reality

Biden Won Tuesday's Primaries As Voters Embraced Voting By Mail,,,,✉ 📭

Amid the economic and social turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Democratic presidential primary marched on yesterday as three delegate-rich states (admittedly one fewer than expected) went to the polls. And as expected, former Vice President Joe Biden scored decisive victories in all three, further distancing himself from Sen. Bernie Sanders in the race for the Democratic nomination

Basically, the data from yesterday’s elections suggests that, in the face of the coronavirus threat, many voters simply traded voting in person for voting early or by mail. As long as the pandemic lingers, this could become a new normal for elections

Joe Biden Looks Set For Another Landslide on Tuesday.Go Joe .you can do this....😎

In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s almost easy to forget that we still have a Democratic primary race going on. But we do. So just for the record, here are the latest poll aggregates from 538.com for the four primaries being held tomorrow:

Joe Biden is at 60 percent or higher in all four states and 538 now gives Biden a 100 percent chance of winning a majority of the delegates. I hope, for Bernie’s sake, that he concedes graciously after this. It’s just hard to believe that continuing forward does him or his reputation any good

The Ohio primary has been postponed to June 2nd. However, the other three primaries are still being held.

Biden urges voters to cast ballots in Tuesday primaries as coronavirus concerns mount..Go Joe...😎

Former Vice President Joe Biden asked voters in a slew of Tuesday primary states to "please vote" as the coronavirus crisis has led to widespread closings and cancellations as officials try to corral the COVID-19 outbreak.
Florida, Ohio, Illinois and Arizona are slated to hold primaries Tuesday. Already, Georgia and Louisiana have announced that they are pushing back their primaries from March and April to May and June

"The right to vote is the most sacred American right there is," Biden tweeted. "State election officials are working closely with public health officials to hold safe elections. If you are feeling healthy, not showing symptoms, and not at risk of being exposed to COVID-19: please vote on Tuesday."
"If you're exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 — or might be at risk — absentee or vote by mail options are the best way to make your voice heard, while protecting your neighbors," he continued

"Americans have participated in elections during challenging times in the past, and based on the best information we have from public health officials, we are confident that voters in our states can safely and securely cast their ballots in this election, and that otherwise healthy poll workers can and should carry out their patriotic duties on Tuesday," they continued

Joe Biden Looked Like A President At The Democratic Debate 😎

Joe Biden had his best debate of the year in his one on one showdown with Bernie Sanders that might have finished off the Democratic primary

-
The difference between the two candidates was that Bernie Sanders had an ideology. Joe Biden had answers. One may disagree with Biden’s answers, but the difference between he and Sanders is that Biden has thought about how to govern, while Sanders wants to win a revolution.

Biden gave his best debate performance in what could be the final Democratic primary debate.

Joe Biden looked like a president and a candidate who can beat Donald Trump.

Joe Biden Is Switching Campaign Managers 😎

Jennifer O’Malley Dillon, a veteran Democratic operative who was a deputy campaign manager for President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign and led former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s 2020 presidential campaign, is the campaign’s new top official. She replaces Greg Schultz, a Biden loyalist who served as the vice president’s top political adviser during Obama’s second term

The change was first reported by The New York Times.
“Like so many other Democrats who are unifying behind Joe Biden’s character and leadership, I’m excited to join the team at this critical moment,” O’Malley Dillon said in a statement announcing the change. “Vice President Biden is turning out voters at record levels and building the broad coalition we need to ensure Donald Trump doesn’t get a second term. It’s an honor to help make him the 46th President and I’m ready to get to work
