Who is going to be the Republican nominee...

Say, you, like me are now convinced that Donald J. Trump will not be the republican on the ballot in November, who do you think would replace him? Ryan? Romney? Someone else?

The scant coverage of Bernie's "Speech"

I did not see much media coverage. Heck even McCain and Romney get more coverage and neither are actively seeking the presidential nomination of a major political party. CNN's coverage on their website even says it's a rehash of his regular stump speech. I guess people are over it?

At this point the Dems need to cut their losses with Bernie

It is evident that he's not willing to endorse or support Hillary or the Dems unless he gets to play victor even after losing the primary. The DNC just needs to cut him out and ignore him, any of his die hard supporters who were not supporting Hillary in the GE are not going to support her no matter what. It is obvious that Bernie will find a way to bitch and moan even after the convention is over--so let's not give him a DNC platform to do it. The press will start ignoring him once we get more into GE mode and he'll eventually just be giving interviews to fringe media only.

Bernie running as an independent

I am not even close to being a fan of this man, but the idea is ridiculous. He's not completely insane. He knows Nader's life for the last 15 years and I am sure is not eager to live that in his dotage. Right now, he has the DNC and Hillary trying their best to be as accommodating as possible because they need his endorsement. If he runs independent, he looses any say he has over platform or anything else to do with the Democratic Party. He'll become a parish to the party he has spent his congressional career aligning with.

Sanders supporters: you want the Democratic Party to be more progressive?

Then start at grassroots civic engagement. Show up and vote in every election, even if it is for dog catcher. Have your voices heard. The establishment cannot ignore you if they know that you are actually going to show up and vote against them.

Bernie to concede tonight

He meets POTUS at the White House on Thursday

Trump has enough bound delegates to win on the 1st round of voting

He now has more than the 1237 in bound delegates. The bound delegates have to legally vote for him in the first round, unless he releases them. The nomination is his per RNC rules if he wants it

Remember your VOTE tomorrow still matters

No matter who you support, it is imperative that you go out and vote and have your voices heard.

For a PD majority of 2026

Clinton needs 213---30 percent
Sanders needs 502---70 percent

714 PD remain of which 694 will be allocated on Tuesday

When all is said and done....

It looks Like Hillary will need 25 percent of all the super delegates to be the nominee.
