Kyle Shanahan reportedly next 49ers head coach
He ALMOST walked into the job as a Super Bowl winning offensive coordinator...
Shanahan was not able to accept a contract offer from the 49ers until after the Falcons' postseason run concluded. He interviewed twice with the 49ers during the postseason and had a conversation with newly named 49ers general manager John Lynch, who called Shanahan and volunteered for the job without any previous front-office experience. Shanahan, 37, is expected to sign a six-year deal to run concurrent with Lynch's contract.

Just curious if you post at one or two or several other forums outside of this one related to anything: pets, hobbies, sports, ancestry, cars, etc.
I am a member of a sports forum. Between that one and this one, it's enough reading/posting to keep me going.
Why isn't Terrell Owens a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame?
He got passed over for the second year on Saturday and he tweeted that the selection process is "flawed" and called the HoF "a total joke."
T.O. finished his career with 15,934 receiving yards (second-most all time) and 153 receiving touchdowns (third-most all time). The five-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler had nine 1,000-yard seasons over an 11-year span and eight seasons with double-digit touchdown receptions.
He also led the NFL in touchdown catches three times (16 in 2001, 13 in '02, 13 in '06).
The five modern-era players to make it were LaDainian Tomlinson, Kurt Warner, Jason Taylor, Terrell Davis and Morten Andersen.

His passing stats won't get him in any conversations about the all-time greats. He will surely be remembered for the dog fighting conviction.
But he also holds the record for QB with the most rush yards in a career. Anyone think a current QB will break that record?
