A 21-year-old and 20-year-old from the Athens area were arrested in connection to the storming of the U.S. Capitol, the FBI announced Wednesday.
The pair make at least 14 people now from Georgia who have been arrested in the Jan. 6 breach of the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob.
On Twitter the FBI's Atlanta office identified the two as Nolan Harold Kidd, 21, and Savanah Danielle McDonald, 20. Kidd is from Crawford, in Oglethorpe County, and McDonald from Elberton in Elbert County, the FBI said.

Two more Minnesotans have been arrested in connection to the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
FBI Minneapolis special agents arrested 42-year-old Brian Mock of Minneapolis and 29-year-old Daniel Johnson of Austin on charges relating to criminal acts at the U.S. Capitol. Mock was charged with assaulting an officer, obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, acts of physical violence on the Capitol grounds, and knowingly entering restricted buildings or grounds. Johnson was charged with entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, violent entry, and demonstrating in a Capitol building.
On Jan. 6, the U.S. Capitol was overrun by a crowd of President Donald Trumps supporters as senators worked to certify the results of the 2020 election, resulting in several deaths.
According to the criminal complaint, body camera captured Mock pushing a U.S. Capitol police officer to the ground and apparently kicking the officer. Mock then shouted "Get out! Go" to the other officers while standing at the front of the crowd. As the crowd continued advance on the officers on the terrace, Mock shoved another Capitol police officer, who was holding a police shield, to the ground. Mock picked up Capitol police riot shields and passed them back to the crowd.

According to the complaint, Daryl Johnson was formerly the mayor of St. Ansgar, Iowa. Daryl was arrested in Iowa and also charged for entering the Capitol.

Federal authorities arrested a Chicago police officer Friday in connection with his alleged role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Karol J. Chwiesiuk was arrested at his residence in Chicago, according to Joseph Fitzpatrick, assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. He is charged with five federal misdemeanors alleging unlawful entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to the federal complaint, which includes images of Chwiesiuk inside the building wearing a Chicago Police Department sweatshirt.
Chwiesiuk appeared Friday before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Chicago and was ordered released on a personal recognizance bond, Fitzpatrick said.
A selfie of Karol J. Chwiesiuk included in the US District Court for the District of Columbia's criminal complaint against Chwiesiuk.
According to the complaint, Chwiesiuk sent text messages to someone the Sunday before the attack saying he was going to D.C. to "save the nation" and "f*** up some commies." The person cooperated with authorities and said he'd known Chwiesiuk for 10 years, according to the complaint.
When the person pointed out Donald Trump had lost the election and the courts had rejected the campaign's many legal challenges for lack of evidence or standing, Chwiesiuk responded: "Didnt read. Busy planning how to f*** up commies."

A former California police chief and five other men have been indicted on conspiracy charges in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to court documents made public Thursday. The men four of whom prosecutors say identify as members of the Three Percenters antigovernment extremist movement are accused of plotting with one another to block the certification of President Joe Bidens victory.
Among those charged is a former La Habra police chief and founder of a far-right group called the American Phoenix Project, which was formed to protest pandemic-related restrictions and has helped pushed the lie that the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.
In court documents, authorities describe how the group's founder, Alan Hostetter, in the weeks leading up to Jan. 6 called for violence against those who supported the results of the election. During a "Stop the Steal" rally held in Huntington Beach on Dec. 12, Hostetter warned that "Trump must be inaugurated on Jan. 20th."
"And he must be allowed to finish this historic job of cleaning out the corruption in the cesspool known as Washington D.C. The enemies and traitors of America both foreign and domestics must be held accountable. And they will. There must be long prison terms, while execution is the just punishment for the ringleaders of this coup," Hostetter said, according to the indictment.

Not everyone wore fur hats and horns while storming the U.S. Capitol. Some, like Chicago resident Christian Kulas, came in Burberry. Kulas was arrested and charged Thursday for unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol and disorderly conduct in connection with the Jan. 6 insurrection. In court documents, federal authorities claim Kulas documented his actions through a series of Instagram Stories, starting from the security barriers surrounding the Capitol to the storming of its halls. Within days, a witness began sharing those clips with the FBI.
As part of Kulus arrest conditions, he is required to stay at his parents $4.5 million mansion overlooking Lake Michigan. His mother has agreed to make sure Kulus attends his court appearances, while his father has agreed to remove two guns from the home. His charges carry a maximum sentence of one year in prison, but he could also face supervised release.

A Rockaway Township man, who officials said is a member of the far-right Proud Boys group, was arrested and charged Tuesday for his "aggressive role" in the deadly U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, said a federal prosecutor at a hearing hours after the arrest.
Shawn Price, 26, brought goggles, milk and other substances used to neutralize the effects of pepper spray or other chemical irritants on his trip to Washington, D.C., on Jan. 2, Catherine Murphy, an assistant federal prosecutor in New Jersey said at the hearing in Newark.
Price, formerly of Hopatcong in Sussex County, has been accused of helping to push a crowd forward into a line of officers that were working to secure the Capitol building.
A federal court judge in Newark ordered Price released on $100,000 unsecured appearance bond. He will be monitored with an ankle device by a pretrial services supervisor, who will also set a curfew.
