DDySiegs's JournalResults From WI Next Week, Announced in Advance!
Since I knew from , I believe Politico, before, yes before, Tuesday 4-7-20 - primary day, we can assume - with a level of nearly absolute certainty that Sanders and his campaign knew this fact before election day, as well. Yet Sanders waited until today - AFTER people physically went into voting lines in wisconsin - thus increasing their risk from COVID-19 and risk of death. In my view Sanders may have blood on his hands as a result of waiting until today to drop out. He has no excuse, he knew in advance that there would be NO results from WI primary UNTIL NEXT WEEK. Therefore his decision to drop out had NOTHING, NOTHING, to do with WI primary or its results. He could have dropped Monday or last weekend, but he didnt. What a complete jerk!
Palmer Report Theory as to why Sanders Wont Dropout

The confession on Twitter this morning at 10:13AM of Briahna Joy Gray, the Sanders Campaigns National Press Secretary, that she misspoke when she said on CNN this morning, at 7:35 AM, that Michael Bloomberg had suffered heart attacks in the past (note the plural) is at the very least disingenuous. If she had merely misspoken, then how is it that it took her nearly THREE HOURS TO MAKE A CORRECTION?
Implicit in the word misspoke is that it involves inadvertence. The three hour delay to take responsibility for the error makes any claim of inadvertence, however its framed, appear deceptive.

Bernie, Out of 330 Million People In the US
And your wife is the only one you can think of. And thats only on a good day!
Should Add Some Detail!
Add a line saying: In the Super Max Prison in Florence Colorado. Its inmates are kept 100 feet underground and they certainly cant tweet. Maybe he could share a cell with Unabomber Ted Kazinski.
Elizabeth Warren Has Reached 50,000 Selfies
Do other DUers agree with the following take on the significance of all these selfies?
Heres the idea: Lets say Warren actually gets to the point where she looks like the likely primary winner (or even later that she actually wins the nomination). Then think about those more than 50,000 selfies all stored on 50,000 plus cell phones all across the country and easy to post on social media. ( Actually, if she gets that far it will be multiples of that 50,000.) A huge number of the people who populate those selfies (and are big fans of Warren) will want to advertise the fact that they are in a selfie with the next president of the US (they hope). What will they do with those selfies? They will post them on Facebook, Twitter and other social media - and in doing so they will include comments indicating glowingly positive views about their candidate. Then their friends will retweet all of this.
Talk about powerful grass roots support! I think it will be tremendously valuable in getting out the vote for Elizabeth.
Anybody agree?
There's Possibly an Additional Reason
Recall, if you will, the Greenland tempest, followed by the absurd decision of Trump to use the Danish PMs use of that absurd word as a pretext for cancelling his state visit to Denmark. There was a perfectly credible theory that Trump was concerned about the expected adulation of Barack Obama, and that he decided not to go to Denmark to reduce the attention that Obamas will get. Now Trump decides not to go to Poland on the Baltic littoral (indeed Poland is almost next door to Denmark on that littoral) - for the exactly the same reason. Trump in Poland would just heighten the enthusiasm and increase the crowds out to honor a REAL US president. Trump hates that idea. So Pence goes.
Senator Isakson (R - Ga) to Resign -- GO STACEY
From Washington Post:
Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) said Wednesday that he will resign at the end of 2019, citing health problems.
Isakson, who is serving his third term, said in a statement that he has informed Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) of his decision, effective Dec. 31.
Stacey Abrams was so close to winning in her gubernatorial bid, should definitely take a shot at this seat! More important than being VP choice.
Trump Donation v. Trump RIP OFF
Donald Trump has donated his annual $400,000 presidential salary back to to the govrnment. . . How public spirited of him!
Now lets look at the other side of this (very lopsided coin) courtesy of Politicususa:
According to Trump Golf Count, Trump has taken 207 golf trips and counting, at a cost to taxpayers of $108 million and counting. Taxpayers are getting a horrible deal. The country would be better off paying Trump his salary and forcing the president to pay for his own golf trips.
If Trump was forced to pay for his own trips to his private clubs, not only would the taxpayers save money, but Trump also wouldnt make millions of dollars by billing the taxpayers for expenses at his clubs.
Republicans who made an issue out of Obamas vacations suddenly have nothing to say about a president who has made George W. Bush look like a workaholic. Since Trump really isnt a billionaire, the odds of taxpayers ever getting their money back are zero..
Yes, the taxpayer has to pick up Trumps golf trip tab - which is about 270 times the size of his annual donation. Such a deal!!
