One day when we grow older and we've experienced all the extraordinary things life has to offer it will be our turn to lead the country and to shape the policies for our children and grandchildren. Our generation has so much to offer future generations.
I know you may not connect with Hillary Clinton the way I do. You may not believe in her the way that I do. However, if you vote for her you will be voting for the most progressive platform in history. You will also be saving the country from Donald Trump. If he is elected there is a very real possibility that there won't be an America left for our children to inherit.
I want to be old one day. Please vote for Hillary.

Are Late Night Shows Saving us from Trump?

Late night comedy shows like Samantha Bee, John Oliver, etc. may be the key to saving our democracy from Trump. They are the masters of ridicule and they were able to use their pulpit to target the ridicule exactly where is belongs, on Trump and the Media.
Especially Samantha Bee's take down of the false equivalency in the news of Trump in Clinton. I noticed a decisive change in the coverage of the candidates. It could be a coincidence?

Question: will this Cuba embargo scandal hurt Trump with Cuban Americans in Florida?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

My Letter to My Undecided Parents

Hey Guys,
I've been thinking about some things a lot lately. I know this isn't easy to understand, but I am terrified about Donald Trump being elected President. For some people it's a choice of the lesser of two evils. For other they are going to cast a protest vote for a third party, but for me that's a luxury I don't have. For me it's about my right to be equal and free to love who I love and work without fear of legalized prejudice. Mike Pence wanted to legalize discrimination of Gay people in Indiana and Trump himself has said he would appoint strict conservative justices to the Supreme Court. Never mind all of the other reckless things he has said.
There's a quote I like,
"Show me with whom you walk and I will tell you who you are."
Let me amend that:
"Tell me for whom you vote and I will tell you are."
I'm having a really difficult time stomaching that my own family who loves me would consider voting for a man that would do harm to me. I wish I could sit in front on my tv and obsess over tax policies, but instead I obsess over a few questions:
Will I still be a fraction of a human in the eyes of the law? Will I have to move to another State to earn a living eventually?
These aren't the choices I've made. They've been made for me and I want to make the best of the hand I was dealt.
So for me it does feel like if someone truly loves me, completely, how could they consider hurting me? It's not a spirited debate over issues for me. It cuts really deep, because it feels like the people that should be standing up for me are missing at the front lines.
So I know I ridicule Trump and take every opportunity to point out a new flaw, but that's my cry for help. From a son to his parents. I need your support and I need you to vote with me.

What do Republicans hate more, Hillary or America?

It's clear to me that Republicans (voting for Trump) would rather burn America to the ground than contribute to shaping the future of this country. I know some of these wimps. They are tough talking, gun carrying, cowboy wannabes. Their lives are boring and they have tiny... hands.
I think it's a prime opportunity for democrats to "capture the flag." We the democrats are now the party of patriotism. Criticizing ones country is perfectly acceptable and good for the growth of this country. Democracy isn't easy and isn't smooth. We fight then unite. The flexibility of our constitution is the key ingredient to our resilience.
Wanting to destroy the country from within is a different story. Essentially I see Trump and his basket of deplorables as treasonous and threatening the safety and security of our country.
Why? Because they want to preserve their white privelege and will that privelege to their children and grand children. I, as a proud democrat, see the potential to live in a world where our differences aren't divisions. However, we are under serious threat from these ex patriots. We have been working our way through a tunnel for the past 8 years. We see the light at the end. Do we run toward it or turn around and run back into the darkness? We should push forward and throw some sharp elbows to get there.
