bmstee01's JournalAre Honesty and Trustworthiness the same thing?
I don't know if Hillary Clinton is the most honest politician to ever run for President, but she's certainly not the most dishonest. Is it wrong though that honesty is low on my list of requirements?
However, Trustworthiness IS important to me. I trust Hillary to run the country effectively. I trust her to help work our way toward progress and have a positive impact on the middle class. I trust that she is qualified and fit to be commander in chief on day one.
I wish pollsters would distinguish between honesty and trustworthiness.
What are your thought?
Hillary: The Mother
As I think about this election I wonder what Hillary would say to these Questions:
What was it like the day you became a mother?
Did becoming a mother influence how you see the world?
I love the movie, The Iron Lady. Mwah Meryl! And in it I thought the unique position of motherhood really hit home with people. At the convention they showed Hillary as a mother to humanize her, as if she's not? But I think being a mother is a source of strength for women.
That message would resonate with Liberal and Suburban women.

Newsweek Article-Conflict of Interest
The article in Newsweek called into question the potential conflict of interest for the Trump Corp.
he proved today that he is willing to use whatever tactics to bring attention to his business and to use the power of a presidential campaign to do so.
I emailed my Congressman, John Yarmuth, and demanded a scheduled March against Trump!!!
Contact your representative and demand a March against Trump! We need to organize!
March Against Trump
Email your congress person! Request them to organize a March against Trump!
Yaaassss! Piss off the media the last 6 weeks of the campaign!
I know people don't like short comments, but I'm at a loss for words!
Underground campaign against Johnson
Hillary can't attack Johnson. It would prop him up. We can though. We need to argue the case against Johnson as an alternative. How?
1. Be understanding and listen. At least pretend
2. Convince people he can't win. Because he can't!
3. Concede some points. Even if it's a painful concession gets people to see you as reasonable. Stay calm.
4. Know your facts: about the emails, about Benghazi, and every terrible thing Trump would do.
5. Make the case for Hillary as a safe choice. She's not exciting, but I think we should give her a chance. Maybe she will only be average, but she's not dangerous. If in 4 years you think she awful vote for another candidate, but now in this moment we can't risk Trump. We have to be adults and make responsible decisions. It isn't sexy, but... Come on!!!
Honest/Trustworthy should not be together
I have had a problem for months now about the honest/trustworthy question on polls. This is why...
Do I think Hillary is honest? Well it depends on the topic. I think she's honest most of the time. I think the coverage of her dishonesty is overhyped.
Do I trust her! YES! And I think a lot of people trust her to be commander in chief. I think people trust her ability to accomplish things for the American people.
Hillary unlike Trump cares about what people think about her. Part of her endeavor is to make history by being a great president. I don't think Trump cares about what anyone thinks of him. If he tanks the economy and people are losing their job he doesn't care!
How Hillary Can Rally Millennials
Hillary can fix it. People especially millennial a don't see her as hope and change, but they could buy the message that she can fix things.
Couple of key issues for my generation:
College debt! Talk about it EVERY DAY!
3 points!
We are going to
1. FIX college debt and rescue Americans from student loans. Teachers, for example, will have their loans forgiven after 5 years of teaching.
2. Fix the unfair punishments for possession of Marijuana.
3. Have some plan to heal racial divides in America.
Keep it simple! Keep it positive! And repeat repeat and repeat!
