"President Donald Trump is considering preemptively pardoning as many as 20 aides and associates before leaving office, frustrating Republicans who believe offering legal reprieves to his friends and family members could backfire."

The usual process is to consult the Justice Department. dump isn't doing that. Repugs are waffling. They don't want to buck him and lose Georgia; yet their protests are mealy-mouthed, as usual.

Weinstein convicted
on two counts of rape. He might get 5-25 years and can still be tried in LA. Over and under on how soon dump pardons him, calls him a good man, and maybe gives him a prize?
A fried sent this video.
The Founding Fathers singing about dump to the tune of American Pie. Enjoy!
Dump's newest mouthpiece,
Sen. Ernst, says Biden, if elected, would be impeached, immediately.

Very interesting, and very stupid on several levels.
1. Ernst is a Senator; impeachment takes place in the House, which is likely to remain Democratic.
2. Ernst assumes that she an other repugs will still be in the Senate.
3. Where's the evidence of Biden's wrongdoing?
Dump and repugs are still trolling the electorate. And, apparently, they still most fear Biden.
Two revealing NYT editorials
the first, by Russ Douthat, makes a plain case for what we must do. Paul Krugman's tells us how: we have to put aside the heat of partisanship for a favored candidate and realize what is likely to happen if any dem candidate is elected. Together, I think they add up to more than the sum of their parts.
