A bit of harsh reality

So the amazing boyfriend and I saw the local production of "Rent" in Lubbock last night. The performance was f-ing epic!!!!

It's the first time I'd ever seen it and I'd only had a vague notion of what it was about via "Team America: World Police"

Two things became apparent:

I was forced to relive the hell of the AIDS crisis in the 1980's. Ronald Reagan and his cabal deserve the worst depths of hell.

The last point is that if Abbot gets his way, performances of "Angel" will be illegal.

Need a chefs tip

So I'm attempting to make an awesome dish for my super awesome boyfriend for valentine's day

The recipie calls for chilli flakes, but I can't locate any in my little town.

However, I was able to buy dried chilies!

So, the question is can I just grind the dried chillis up?
