Pardon the long rant...

It’s quite evident Wayne LaPierre, his cohort Dana Lousch and others of similar mentality can put a price on the lives of our children and adults. They already have. Of course it varies according to the political sway of those who receive it. The enormous amount of money he and his organization have given to especially Right Wing politicians in support of doing nothing that could save the lives of hundreds of children and thousands of adults shows he and his organization don’t care and accept it’s ok if kids or adults die by his and his organization's actions or beliefs so long as he, his organization, those he supports and those who donate to him become wealthier.

We hear empty talk from those who directly benefit from LaPierre’s organization the second amendment can not be assailed. I ask why not? We’ve already lost most of the fourth amendment thanks to Bush/Cheney, the Republicans and their wealthy supporters. The most important amendment, the first (thought so by those who founded this nation) is being attacked by the Right at every conceivable turn – in outright fashion or by innuendo and reinterpretation.

The constitution is a living thing according to a POS that has rightfully left this plane of existence. If that’s so, and most on the Right believes it, then even the supposedly sacrosanct second amendment’s time has come for a 21st century overall.

I certainly don’t expect any cooperation or action from ANY on the Right over this (probably pearl clutching, hand-ringing and rationaliztions). God (or whomever) forbid we attack the second amendment…but it’s certainly acceptable to question the rest – even if the vast majority of the second amendment supporting deplorables can’t name or intelligently state more than one or two other amendments! (Are the others really that important, deplorables?) Isn’t that so Mr. Ryan, or Mr. McConnell or any of you immigrant descended “patriots” on the Right?

I have to ask Mr. Ryan, Mr. McConnell and especially our intellectually stunted, third grade oh-so-eloquent president…Was the money you received worth the price of those children’s lives?

It seems your answer is an unqualified yes. Or maybe you think you need to put a different price on other’s lives depending on their status in life, skin color or country of origin? Because if that’s the case you can always accept or demand more money from LaPierre, do less, then continue to offer your most patronizingly, (in)sincere thoughts and prayers. (The MSM will help you there!)

How much are children’s lives worth to you Mr. Ryan, Mr. McConnell, Mr. Trump? We already know they have a price tag on them courtesy of LaPierre (political donations). He might even have a spreadsheet detailing values of acceptable losses of children’s lives for each Republican and his or her district! What does it say about an organization that maintains a PR Department at the ready to defend any of the heinous acts his business is reponsible for?

How much are the lives of YOUR children, YOUR wives, YOUR relative’s (YOUR Mistresses?) worth Mr. Republican Politician? It certainly appears by your (in)actions you don’t give a damn about anyone else's.

Sadly, possibly the only thing that will change the prevailing Right Wing attitude toward gun control would be if any of the children or wives or relatives of those accepting money from LaPierre’s organization (or LaPierre or his relatives, employees or friends) were to suffer a similar fate as the children of Connecticut or Florida or a dozen other states - or the people in Las Vegas or California or wherever.

Tell me again Mr. Ryan, Mr. McConnell, Mr. Trump. How much is someone else’s child, mother, father, sister or brother worth so you can stay in office? A dollar? A hundred dollars? A thousand dollars? Oh, I know…a vote!

To paraphrase one of the countrymen you Republicans admire, support and defend:
If the life of one child could be taken by your inaction so that you could receive enough money from an organization or donors that value money over lives so you can be elected to or stay in office, would you do it? You can deny the obvious answer and lie as Republicans are trained to do, but I guess we already know the answer. You already have bought and paid for those lives. And to put it in terms you can understand, when you get “Right" down to it, it’s really your fault those people are dead!

Should the right of a person to live be subject to and overridden by the whimsical interpretation of the second amendment? There shouldn't even be a moments hesitation to answer that with a resounding NO!

You COULD do something about this. YOU CHOOSE NOT TO! And so long as LaPierre and his ilk feed your bank account and stroke what passes for your simple, single issue (greed) mind and conscience, I’m quite sure you’ll continue to do nothing. In simpler terms even you should understand:

Money is more important to you than the lives of someone else or their children.
I’m sure you can live with that. You already do. We can’t. We need to remind you and those who share your selfish greed every chance we can.

Enjoy your blood money.
