The zero hour is approaching. Crunch time
This is war. Failure is not an option. I am feeling very confident. Can we lose? Sure we can. People win the lottery and get struck by lightning don’t they? I have been through a lot of campaigns and this has been the biggest and most consistent lead we have had since Bill Clinton. However this shakes down, you left it all on the field my fellow Democrats, ex Republicans and indies. We have built coalitions with so many factions that never in my wildest dreams would we find common cause and be allies yet here we are. I think that is the best memory I will take from this experience. That is what the USA is all about. The USA is also about kicking ass and that is what team blue is about to do. This fucking Trump bullshit ends tomorrow.

I want to get on with it already. Waited 4 long years for revenge. Let’s light this candle. I remember I had a health scare once. Dr thought I was fine but recommended a test to be sure. Intellectually I knew I was most likely fine but the waiting game was brutal. I turned out to be no problem. I expect my relief and jubilation when Biden wins will be similar. I am very encouraged by the polls and turnout so far. Everyone is so on edge, complacency is one thing I doubt we have to worry about.

Biden lead dips to 5 in a low turnout scenario and I highly doubt that will be the case given what we have seen. Imagine your stress level if these polls were showing Trump winning PA by 5 or 7 and we had to play catch up with a day left? One more day. Let’s finish strong.

To be honest, my biggest fear would be that he would suddenly start acting somewhat normal and reasonable like he did in the closing weeks of 2016. Let him have his whacko freakouts and if the trumpanzees want to piss everyone off and block traffic and run Biden busses off the road, let’s see how that ultimately plays out for them. More bad press for them and the best GOTV motivation I can imagine for our side. Who gives a shit what whack nonsense Cheeto Mussolini has to say? He is a paper tiger down double digits and has been for months. We are kicking this Orange turd’s ass and then we are going to toss him out of the WH on his rear end for the SDNY to have at it. What he just did, publicly breaking with Trump and sounding the alarm, is way more devastating than what Comey pulled on Clinton 11 days before the election I think. Imagine if you were pro Trump and this dropped in the closing days? They must be irate and panicking. There is natural anxiety because even though it looks good, we won’t rest easy until it’s really over and we are victorious. This is good. It drives people to act and if our goal was to bank our votes ahead of time to avoid any imperial entanglements, drive early voter turnout through the roof and bring in a ton Democratic voters who sat out 2016, I am pleased with what I am seeing and proud of all those who worked so hard to achieve this remarkable feat. Go team blue! Full pedal to the metal and let’s finish strong!

I thought the poll PTSD would have vanished after midterms
The polls predicted a historic blue wave in the midterms and we got a historic blue wave. This is nothing like 2016. At this point I was sweating it. Clinton wasn’t polling over 50% in the battlegrounds, the Democrats came out of the primary badly damaged and divided, James Comey had just dropped his turd blossom and the national polls showed Trump in the lead at multiple points. Mark my words. WE ARE GOING TO KICK TRUMP’S ASS. To quote the immortal Chick Hearn, “You can put this one in the refrigerator. The door is closed. The lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter’s getting hard and the Jell-o is jiggling.”
