Sedition is a serious felony punishable by fines and up to 20 years in prison and it refers to the act of inciting revolt or violence against a lawful authority with the goal of destroying or overthrowing it. The following provides an overview of this particular crime against the government, with historical references.
The federal law against seditious conspiracy can be found in Title 18 of the U.S. Code (which includes treason, rebellion, and similar offenses), specifically 18 U.S.C. § 2384. According to the statutory definition of sedition, it is a crime for two or more people within the jurisdiction of the United States:
To conspire to overthrow or destroy by force the government of the United States or to level war against them;
To oppose by force the authority of the United States government; to prevent, hinder, or delay by force the execution of any law of the United States; or
To take, seize, or possess by force any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof.

Trump and Republicans are deliberately endangering the health and safety
of the people of the United States by playing these deadly games with a legitimate election.

President Trump is continuing to remove senior defence officials and replace them with loyalists, creating growing alarm in the Pentagon that his rapid overhaul of key staff could undermine national security.
Since Trump fired Secretary of Defense Mark Esper on Monday, three other Defense Department officials have either resigned or been sacked. Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy James Anderson quit on Tuesday after clashes with the White House over its attempts to insert controversial figures into top Pentagon positions.

Officials at law firms representing Trump are balking at his efforts to overturn elections: report
On Monday, The New York Times reported that senior officials at multiple law firms representing President Donald Trump’s campaign in their lawsuits against the election counts are increasingly uncomfortable with their legal teams being used to advance arguments to undermine the legitimacy of the vote.
“Some senior lawyers at Jones Day, one of the country’s largest law firms, are worried that it is advancing arguments that lack evidence and may be helping Mr. Trump and his allies undermine the integrity of American elections, according to interviews with nine partners and associates, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to protect their jobs,” reported Jessica Silver-Greenberg, Rachel Abrams, and David Enrich. “At another large firm, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, based in Columbus, Ohio, lawyers have held internal meetings to voice similar concerns about their firm’s election-related work for Mr. Trump and the Republican Party, according to people at the firm. At least one lawyer quit in protest.”
Trump has had ties to Jones Day going back years, with one of the legal partners, Don McGahn, going on to serve as the president’s White House counsel and an adviser in his judicial appointments.

Trump freezes wages of farmworkers
12:22 ET - Farmworker Justice, a Washington-based advocacy group, is blasting a rule by the Trump administration that freezes wages for agricultural guestworkers as the coronavirus pandemic takes a heavy toll among farmworkers. The rule, issued by DOL this week, freezes wages through 2022 for some 250,000 foreign workers who enter the US each year on seasonal agricultural visas, and adjusts the process for calculating future wages. Under the rule farmworkers will lose $1.7B over a decade, the advocacy group says, slashing incomes for workers who already are among the lowest-paid in the country. USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue praised the rule, saying farmworker wages have increased in recent years at a faster rate than other industries and that it ensures stability for farmers by helping then "plan and budget for their workforce needs." U.S. election security agency debunks fraud claims
As unfounded conspiracy theories pile up to challenge the fact that Joe Biden is the projected winner of the 2020 presidential election, the country’s top election security agency is rapidly debunking them.
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the federal agency that oversees the security and integrity of election infrastructure, maintains a “rumor control” blog to correct false claims about elections and voting, which has been particularly active in recent days.
The agency’s head, Chris Krebs, a Trump appointee, is personally actively debunking such claims, such as that officials gave Sharpie markers to some voters to invalidate their ballots (those ballots are still counted) or the “hammer and scorecard” conspiracy theory, which holds that a mythical computer system secretly changed votes across the country, inexplicably bypassing audits, the fact that states independently conduct elections, and that most votes were cast on paper ballots.

This is almost certain. He himself has announced he will not leave. His patterns so far reveal that he has few internal constraints, and from his inability to tolerate criticism or to admit that he is ever wrong, we can expect him to go to any extents to avoid being a “loser” and a “sucker.” Breaking laws and norms therefore will be nothing for him, especially when his emotional lifeline depends on it, since the loss of the presidency will mean the loss of a steady stream of adoration, in addition to the likelihood of prosecution and going broke.
