The President is yelling fire in a crowded theater.

It seems he is attempting to do what Charles Manson couldn't. If he weren't such an idiot I would be certain of it.

Please look at "Truth Cat" on Facebook and report them.

They are advocating killing people on the left in a post I just reported.

I get this isn't something all of you are into(Reporting on Facebook). Others are. I ask for your help. Thank you.

My friends, things will get worse before they get better.

Have no doubt, they will get better. The road ahead is ugly and will require all of us sticking together. Even if we have great electoral gains it will get worse in the short-term. The alt-right have been emboldened and they will lash out worse than they currently are as we back them into a corner and call them out by name. As Trump goes down, either by way of stepping down, impeachment, or in the next election; the alt-rights rage will escalate.

As we move closer to elections we need to stand unified. That doesn't mean group hugs all the way around. Support and vote for your preferred primary candidate. Fight for them. Find reasons to support a candidate, not reasons to oppose a candidate. After the primaries, unify behind the winner and work for the Democrat in the general election. It Doesn't matter if they were your preferred candidate in the primary or not.

Make it a goal to drive a minimum of three people to the polls on election day. If you are already meeting or beating that goal, you are the shit. The rubber meets the road on election day. We have forces working against us that we must overcome.

Support your favorite group/organization. Send them money, give them your time, or both.

Join a local Democratic organization and help shape the direction.

Republicans are the enemy. Don't stop railing against them. Attach them all to Trump. Trump=Alt-Right=Republican. Drive the Russia story home. Out them as the racist, sexist, bigoted white nationalists they are. Do not relent on the attacks. Republicans are the enemy.

Politics is local. Get involved if you can. School Board. City Council. State House.

We don't need to sing in perfect harmony. That is not possible in a two party system. That doesn't mean we cannot and are not uniting. We have a common enemy. Trump and those who support him. Your rabid right wing city councilman. Members of your State House who can't cut enough taxes, school disbursements, or infrastructure work.

And never forget that "it will get worse before it gets better" has meaning. It means your family, friends, neighbors, and communities all across the country will suffer. It's real and these phrases need to be taken seriously. Look out for one and other. Look out for one and other. Look out for one and other.

This is our time. This is our fight. We are going to make a difference. We are going to provide the country with a federal government that is involved in some way in making sure every citizen has quality health care. Federal, state and local governments that fight for the civil rights of all. Infrastructure investments to fix what is crumbling around us. And on and on and on.

We've got this.

The Ways Tech Companies Alienate Women

I am the co-founder of a company that helps clients find ways to diversify their work force. We recently set up an interview at a major company for a senior African-American woman software engineer. After meeting with the hiring panel, she withdrew her application, telling us she felt demeaned by the all-white male group that failed to ask her any questions about her coding skills. She described how one of the men had made it clear to her that she wasn’t a cultural fit and that therefore they didn’t need to proceed with technical questions.

I hear stories like this regularly, as I work with companies in Silicon Valley and beyond who want to bring more women onto their tech teams. Higher-ups declare their intention to hire more women. But the actual hiring is still all too rare.

There’s a continuing debate about the reasons for the lack of diversity in the tech sector, including candidate pools that are mostly male, and stubborn, superficial notions of what it means to be a “cultural fit” for an organization — the template for which is often based on young white men. But at least one small component of this problem is immediately solvable: Many companies are alienating the qualified women who want to work for them, and who they want to hire, during the interview process itself.

While Silicon Valley companies are enthusiastically putting money into STEM programs in schools and nonprofits focused on diversity, with the goal of creating a richer pipeline of talent in 10 years, they’re missing opportunities to make simple, immediate improvements by changing how they communicate with women who are sitting across the table from them now.

I don't want to erase history.

That's One of the white nationalists main arguments. We are trying to erase history. There are concentration camps that are preserved. South Africa has historical museums of extremely dark times. Those dark memories are physically kept and we are just a bunch of snowflakes trying to erase history.

The fact is I don't want to erase history. I am fully accepting to preserve our history, including with physical symbols at State Houses across the south depicting generals and soldiers of the Confederacy.

My problem is that most of the statues and monuments across the south glorify the individual on the monument. They make these losers of the war out to be righteous in their actions. That couldn't be further from the truth. They are not a reflection of history. Many, but not all, are even a disturbing reaction to the civil rights movement in the fifties and sixties.

If they want to preserve history these monuments need to undergo drastic changes. General Robert E Lee's statue in Virginia that was ground zero over the weekend is a glorification of him.

What I find to be acceptable in it's replacement is simple historical accuracy over false glorification.

A statue of General Lee surrendering to General Grant at the Appomattox Court House. General Lee's dead horse on the ground beside him. The plaque should read: "General Lee was an American traitor who fought on the losing side of the Civil War. He fought to keep slavery alive in the south. His trusty horse Traveller died after stepping on a rusty nail."

They don't want to preserve history. They want to rewrite it and fight the war again.

Sen. Narco Rubio under increased security amid potential death order from Venezuela

One of Venezuela's most powerful leaders may have put out an order to kill Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, a fervent critic of the South American country's government, according to intelligence obtained by the U.S. last month.

Though federal authorities couldn't be sure at the time if the uncorroborated threat was real, they took it seriously enough that Rubio has been guarded by a security detail for several weeks in both Washington and Miami.

Believed to be behind the order: Diosdado Cabello, the influential former military chief and lawmaker from the ruling socialist party who has publicly feuded with Rubio.

At a July 19 Senate hearing, the same day he was first spotted with more security, Rubio repeated his line that Cabello — who has long been suspected by U.S. authorities of drug trafficking — is "the Pablo Escobar of Venezuela." A week ago on Twitter, Cabello dubbed the senator "Narco Rubio."

White Nationalist and pedophile enabler Milo Yiannopoulos chimes in.

"The Left is getting what it asked for and what it started: political violence on the streets. Hard to muster up sympathy, if I'm completely honest."
