I confess! The President is right!

(Many of you will remember this is the journalist who gave Sarah Huckabee Sanders hell in the press room on June 27.)

I CONFESS! THE PRESIDENT IS RIGHT!

24 Aug 2017 Written by Brian Karem

"For the most part, all they do is complain. ... These are really, really dishonest people and they're bad people and I really think they don't like our country. I really believe that." - President Donald Trump speaking about the media during a Phoenix Rally.

Well I guess the jig is up folks. I am going to be the first to turn in my secret Liberal/Jewish/Muslim media cabal decoder ring. The president has found us out. If it hadn’t been for Trump, we might’ve gotten away with it, but he proved too much for us.

Now that I’ve been caught, I intend to make a full confession. I can’t speak for anyone else and wouldn’t ever try to, but for me I feel pretty good finally getting this weight off my shoulders. I hope the cabal lets me come back on pot luck nights though. That’s some good cooking.

Trump lays out strategy for disaster in Afghanistan

Put aside all the things he said about Afghanistan in the not-so-distant past (three of which I'll paste at the end of this) and just focus on how ridiculous the strategy is that he detailed tonight.

The objectives: defeat ISIS in Afghanistan, defeat al Qaeda in Afghanistan, and defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan. Okay, sounds good.

But then he says we will not be there on an open-ended basis, and we will not engage in "nation building."

In other words, we will shoot people and blow things up for some period of time, and when we "win" (or finally decide to GTFO) we will leave behind nothing—no roads, no water delivery system, no airports, no hospitals...nothing.

This is a perfect opportunity for the three enemies we're fighting to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan people. They couldn't have written it better themselves.

The people of that country saw us do the exact same thing after we helped push the Soviets out. And look what happened. We saved them from the Soviets and managed to also turn them into a nation that was hostile against us.

We are doing it again. And for what? Even if we "win" as defined by the three objectives noted above, what does that mean for the future of Afghanistan and, as a result, the future of the United States? Does he think groups that are hostile to the US won't swoop in once we're gone?

There is no clear definition of victory here. None. And, in my view, there never will be.

Here are just three examples of Trump getting it right on Afghanistan not too long ago. Now, he has abandoned this rational line of thinking and he's about to make a major mistake.

Two problems with Republicans denouncing Saturday's violence.

1. No one should be praised for denouncing Nazis and their violence; it should be treated as something we expect. It's disgusting that the bar is so low now, people are getting credit for distancing themselves from Nazis. Just bizarre.

2. Very few of them are drawing a direct line from the Nazi marching, slogan-chanting, slur-slinging, and violence to Trump. They KNOW they're going to get credit as outlined in #1 above, so that's all they do.

Make them own this:

Trump has a "tell" when he's lying and we just saw it

as he read the remarks about Charlottesville.

I first noticed this a few months ago, so I started paying closer attention when he's saying something he clearly doesn't want to, but feels pressured to.

The "tell": It's his breathing. He purses his lips and inhales sharply and audibly through his nose.

Watch the remarks again (if you can stomach it). Notice when that breathing oddity occurs. It's when he mentions the KKK and white supremacy.

Each of us on this site knows he didn't want to do what he just did. But the proof -- the physiological proof, proof that's undeniable to anyone who knows anything about the psychology of body language -- is right there for all to see.

He agrees with them. He stands with them.

And considering this came on Day Three after the violence, he has already provided the white supremacist Nazis with his approval. Now they'll just say he had to do this and that he's still with them. And they're right.

Jason Kessler, cowardly Nazi, comments on today's press conference...

Here he is talking to his followers on Periscope.

"The video of the press conference isn't worth posting. I might give it to my lawyers." Haha. We've seen it, Nazi Kessler, we've seen it.

EDIT: He also said there were no Charlottesville police officers to separate him from the "violent mob," as he calls it. Which is bullshit. He was escorted out by police. We saw that, too, Nazi scum, when you ran away with your tail between your legs.
