To me it reads that the DCCC would rather back an incumbent, no matter his or her voting record, to hold the seat than to take a chance that a better person can get elected. What would DUers post if this article was about Republicans.

Israeli intelligence was totally wrong about the USS Liberty.
They assumed that the linguists aboard the USS Liberty were Hebrew linguists. None were. All the linguists were Russian linguists. I was a Russian linguist with the Army Security Agency and had trained with some of the linguists aboard the USS Liberty. The US government covered it up because Israel was and still is our only ally in the Middle East. Because of Jerusalem and now the Golan Heights, Trump is showing that he does not want peace in that region.

I don't talk to the women without an okay from their husbands. There aren't any orthodox Jews living here, but when I lived in Florida I did not talk to the women without an okay from their husbands. In both cases, I never tried to touch the women, I mean like shake their hands. In Turkey I would hold hands with my male friends when we went for a walk. In the South, I live in Eastern NC, there have times when meeting a woman for the first time, they hugged me. I am straight, but even in the Castro District of San Francisco I would walk with my male friends and hold hands. It has never bothered me.

I may be totally wrong,
but after reading the posts, I have a thought on why there is so much anger shown by some of you to others. Those of you who watched the video and those of you who only know about it do not know how to cope with it. Excuse me, but sometime it is difficult for me to find the right words. Catharsis comes to mind. You need to find some way to scream. Me, I just cry.
I know of someone else who would write something and then write that he didn't write it.
By writing the 40s and 50s, I was just showing that I grew up in a more civil time. In other words we learned how to debate which seems to be different now when people would rather use profanity and name calling. Debating shows style and intellect where profanity and name calling show a lack of intelligence. If you decide to reply to my post without using your intelligence but only wishing to bait me, I will disregard you totally in the future. So far you have not shown me anything for me to waste my time with.
I don't "alert".
I say what I have to say and leave it that at. If others want to "alert", let them. Not what I do. In my day, 40s and 50s, we fought our own battles.
