Watched the first episode of Extraordinary Attorney Woo (Netflix)

and WOW!!! What a jewel this is. It's funny, it's touching and the acting is so damn good. The main character is SUPER talented. I cannot imagine performing some of the lines that she has.
If you don't mind subs, give this one a try.

IF you like tense, deep, thrillers, The Devil's Hour will be right up your alley...

It is the only series that I can remember that actually made chills run up my spine AND made me use the F word repeatedly because of me being startled. It is THAT good. And, there is a season two coming.

AI has almost completely farked that up now. I am not anti-AI, but I am against misleading your audience. If you are going to create new work off the backs of others, at least tell me.

Baldwin County AL is a bastion of rightwingedness...today I saw something that made me laugh

There is a 4ft x 8ft billboard of DeSantis at one of the major crossroads. It's the one that proudly states that DeSantis is Like Trump, without the crazy.
The thing that made me laugh was that someone has thrown raw eggs at the sign and fortuitously hit BOTH eyes, so he has runny eggs running from his eye sockets.
Sometimes, I am easily amused, especially since it was probably thrown by a TFG supporter.

I know this is not allowed, but I am absolutely DISGUSTED

with NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D). JFC, leave your fucking christian viewpoints at home and don't tell me you can't govern without bring your damn GOD into the equation.

“Don’t tell me about no separation of church and state. State is the body, church is the heart. You take the heart out of the body, the body dies,” Adams said at the main branch of the New York Public Library, where religious leaders from around the city were seated.

“I can’t separate my belief because I’m an elected official. When I walk, I walk with God. When I talk, I talk with God. When I put policies in place, I put them in with a God-like approach to them — that’s who I am,” he said.

“I ... will always be a child of God, and I won’t apologize about being a child of God,” he added.

DeSantis just proved to the nation that he can KILL someone on Main Street

and get away with it. Or can he?

Florida on Thursday executed 59-year-old Donald Dillbeck, who was sentenced to death 32 years ago by a non-unanimous jury under a death penalty statute that has since been found unconstitutional.

Dillbeck, who was killed as punishment for fatally stabbing a woman named Faye Vann, was the first person executed in Florida since 2019.

The timing of his execution appears to be part of a push by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to bring back death sentences by non-unanimous juries. DeSantis, who is expected to run for president, signed Dillbeck’s death warrant last month on the same day that he floated changing state law to allow non-unanimous juries to impose death sentences. “Maybe eight out of 12 have to agree or something,” DeSantis suggested at a Florida Sheriffs Association conference, just before ordering the execution of a man with that exact jury split.

I got my brand new contact lenses today. Getting them in isn't too difficult. Getting them out is another story.
Are there any tools that can be used for people with big ole fat fingers?
