Crucial question: How should we fight back against the PutinGOP and Trump?

I think this is a core issue which needs to be discussed.

I was replying to a comment by BlueKota and decided to make it an OP as I think it is crucial question.
And with BlueKota's permission, I decided to make their question and my answer an OP to elicit more discussion.

Sorry I know there are a lot of people who think this is an over reaction, but I'm scared it isn't and I don't have any where else to voice my fears.


Some of my thoughts:

Yes everyone keeps telling us that Trump and the GOP cannot do this or that. 
And quotes the laws and rules to prove their points.

We know this is a ludicrous argument. 
Quoting the law is not the answer to the question. Trump and the GOP do not follow the laws, rules or customs. 
And the criminal justice system is either afraid to enforce the laws, 
stymied by the GOP underhanded tactics, or complicit and works for Putin too. 


So how do we fight back? We can feel like we are in a no win situation. 
If we remain passive, the Putin GOP wins, and we lose our democracy. If we use underhanded tactics we become like the GOP. 
And then Putin has won. The US is then a lawless society like Russia. 



Make no mistake, the PutinGOP is deliberately placing us in no win situations, over and over. They use brutal tactics, nasty relentless hate filled propaganda, manipulation and gaslighting of the American population. Install GOP leaders who will stoop to any illegal and dirty tactic, sinking lower and lower with impunity and no remorse.

There must be a way to play hard ball, to defeat the Putin GOP, but remain true to the US rule of law and democracy. 


We must first understand that the PutinGOP is at war with us. Funded by our enemies, 
Russia, China, Iran, Saudi, NK. They wish to be the global superpower and doing what they can to damage western democracies. The GOP has aligned with them to destroy democracy in our country. Their goal is what Putin has in Russia. Total permanent power
and access to all national financial assets. 
To do this they must install a fascist government, one that is a white, christian, male theocracy.

We must fight back, and fight back hard. 
Or lose our democracy. It is a simple choice. 

But how do we do that? 



Politics as usual is a very lame response.

I suggest that instead of feeling helpless, falling further into despair, 
allowing ourselves to be driven off the cliff, we start asking ourselves and our leaders, what is the plan? 



How do we save our democracy and rule of law? 

It is not enough to say go vote. We know that the GOP is working to take away voting rights and manipulate the election system. 

We know the fascist rot I has spread throughout our government, including the Supreme Court, the rest of the judicial system and in the US congress. The FBI, DOJ are also complicit in traitorous crimes.

So what is the plan? What do we do? How do we play hardball, save our democracy but not become criminals in the process, destroying the things we are trying to save?

Today's Discussion: Putin obviously feels he has a chance to succeed in his plans:

1. Install Trump into the WH again.
2. Have Trump create as much dissension, chaos, hatred and anger as possible in the US populace.
3. Create chaos in congress.
4. Putin GOP puppets cripple the military.
5. Putin GOP puppets cripple the state department.

6. Pass on top secret information, given to him by Trump, to Iran
who helps Hamas attack an American ally, Israel.

7. Capture, torture and rape women to get Biden's anger going.
8. Capture, torture, rape American women to further antagonize Biden.
9. Force Biden to give aid, support, money to Israel over a long period of time.
10. GOP and Americans begin to complain.
11. US stops aid to Ukraine.
12. Putin wins the war.

ETA: Putin will blow up as much of the world as it takes to win.
ETA: World oligarchs back the autocrats.

Discussion for the day: WWIII is ongoing, US is involved.

We are fighting on three fronts: Europe, Mideast, Pacific.

The enemy is the autocratic bloc: Russia, China, Saudi, Iran, North Korea.

The autocratic bloc as been very clever, very successful in weakening western democracies.
They have installed their puppets at the highest levels of US government.
And in other democracies.

The GOP puppets have been working hard to weaken the US military.
And create chaos and confusion across the land.

Trump has seriously degraded US and our allies' intelligence services.

We are committed to Ukraine's fight. And we are addressing the China threat.
Now the Mideast has exploded. Iran and Russia are allies, the HAMAS attack
has Putin's fingerprints all over it.

All according to plan. Time for the autocratic bloc to kick up their aggression.

Their goal is to be the sole 21st century superpowers.
Permanent, total power and confiscation of all of the planet's resources.

Trump is a ruthless, vicious sociopath who is causing this country to get sicker and sicker.

For those who admire the conman, they get sick and become like Trump.

For those of us who see Trump for what he is, we are sick at heart,
because we know where all of this can lead.

The more we normalize Trump, the sicker our country will become.

Americans aren't reeling, they are sitting on their hands doing nothing.

We wondered how the Germans could let Hitler kill their fellow citizens with impunity.

How is the current state of affairs in the US any different?

Corrupt politicians insist that Americans become angry, full of rage and have
a strong desire for revenge over made up issues.
And then they give everyone an assault rifle.

So we have an American gestapo who gleefully kills American citizens.

And WE THE PEOPLE pretend they have nothing to do with it.
Refuse to take responsibly and perform their civic duty.

All paths lead back to the American voter.
Same people who look like they are going to vote to end democracy.

Yes color me DISGUSTED.

Yes the law is now completely detached from right and wrong.

The law is used to punish and control others.
And to protect the rich and powerful.

No common sense.
Not one iota of concern for the American people.

The Supreme Court pretends to come from a moral core, but it is all a lie and fake.
It is all politics, power and money.

School children being murdered in classrooms means nothing to them at all.
Women dying in hospital parking lots, not a problem.

The loss of our democracy and the installation of a fascist regime is fine with them.

Being bribed with $$millions and then ruling in favor of those rich crooks is fine
with them.

Americans have learned the hard way the Honor Code is meaningless

when people have no honor.

Shame shame shame on the supreme court.

My USAF father flew combat in three wars and my US Navy uncle was killed in WWII.

Bringing supplies to the marines on Guadalcanal.

I can 100% guarantee that they did not put their lives on the line so that
my daughter can be hunted down like an animal because she is gay.

The world should be glad both men are in heaven now,
because if my father and uncle could see what Nazi fascists
have done to this country, and that my child is in danger,
the cussing would be epic and nonstop.

I was taught these two concepts from a very early age.

From my Dad, a first generation Irish American who adored Jack Kennedy.

My dad was career US Air Force. He always said he was in the Air Force but he
worked for the AMERICAN PEOPLE. They were his bosses.

This concept made a big impression on me. We The People was real
and it was sacred. My dad was willing to die for it.

He risked his life for American freedom and to ensure every generation
did better for their children. He flew combat in three US wars and was proud and
happy to serve.

My Dad's Irish parents immigrated to the US as young adults. In Ireland for 1000 years their families had been subjugated, controlled, starved, denied their religion, the ability to read or write, own property. They were enslaved by the British.

So when my Irish family got off the ship and stepped foot on the ground in Boston Massachusetts, it was the first time in one thousand years my family had been free, truly free. (Most Americans cannot even wrap their heads around this idea.)

This fact was not lost on my father, he was proud and honored to serve the country which had taken in his family. When my military uncle was killed as a member of the US Navy in WWII bringing supplies to the marines on Guadalcanal, our family was devastated but understood we owed the United States.

Every day I post my heart on this and other forums. Standing up for what is right, defending democracy and the ideals of JFK and my father and uncle.

It is the very least I can do.
