Saine made the statements Friday on the floor of the Colorado House. She posted footage of her speech to Facebook Monday, and noted that it was meant to bolster House District 49 Rep. Perry Buck, who tried to introduce a resolution honoring King.

“How could I honor Martin Luther King today without shining a light on injustice myself?” Saine said. “My colleagues, how can you redeem your marginalized voice by marginalizing ours? Our march toward justice is not over when a colleague of ours is barred from introducing a resolution on this floor because of the color of her skin.”

President Donald Trump’s social media accounts are filled with vile racism, idiotic xenophobia, and inaccurate statistics. And now we can add another category to the list: fake photos.

In recent months, Trump’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts have published photos of the president that have been manipulated to make him look thinner.

If it only happened once you might be able to chalk it up as an accident. But Gizmodo has discovered at least three different retouched photos on President Trump’s social media pages that have been published since October of 2018.

“What we perceived was a very tense situation,” he added. “Our elder, Nathan Phillips did what he thought he could offer, and stand in a peaceful and prayerful way, and try to diffuse that situation.” He urged Americans to ignore the spin and watch the entire video.

“All you have to do is watch the video, and you’ll see them doing what’s known as the tomahawk chop,” he said. “We’re in a city that has a textbook racial slur as their football team.”

“We have a racially charged environment with a president who is giving license to this behavior,” Iron Eyes continued. “These kids show up being very loud, very disruptive, and doing the tomahawk chop, it is on video, making the fake war whoop we all know how to make.”

“It doesn’t matter how people spin it,” he said. “Our elder felt threatened there.”

On #MLKDay remember, much of Trump's base is old enuf 2 have been involved in the civil rts mvmt. They could've joined the greatest freedom struggle in US history but they didn't. They opposed it or collaborated w/evil via silence. Their views on ANYTHING after are meaningless

“I don't buy this theory at all that Trump thought he wasn't going to win or he didn't want to win. I mean, first off, this is Trump and you have to imagine that in his head he's content to lose to a woman and lose to a Clinton.

“But second of all, his relationship with Russia goes back 30 years as do his political ambitions. He nearly ran for president in 1988, in 1996; he ran in 2000, he ran in 2012, and he ran again in 2016. That's not a political neophyte, that's somebody whose had long-term political ambitions.
We also know that Trump has had ties to Russian officials and to organized crime for about 30 years and that he's been the source of various crackdowns on those crimes. For example, there's an investigation into the Taj Mahal casino by the US Treasury in 2015, Trump may have been in trouble.

“A great way to get out of trouble is if you're the President of the United States and you can pack the courts, you can purge agencies, you can rewrite the law so that you can be immune from prosecution as well as filling your own autocratic objectives and partnering with autocrats around the world, which is what he's done.

“This is a transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government.”
