Key characteristics of a narcissistic sociopath include:
Grandiose sense of self-importance.
Lives in a fantasy world that supports their delusions of grandeur.
Needs constant praise and admiration.
Sense of entitlement.
Exploits others without guilt or shame.
Frequently demeans, intimidates, bullies, or belittles others.
I think we can see a pattern here. Risking infection of others for a photo op. A fake set up to try and convince us that he is working on a Saturday night in hospital. Like that is ever a thing for him... he has spent the last 3.5 years doing bugger all, then suddenly he gets the urge to work on a Saturday night, by signing a blank piece of paper, in front of a camera crew, without wearing a mask, while infected with a deadly virus. The pernicious emptiness of this man is endless. Same with his daughter. It is not just that they don't care, it is that they don't even realise that they should care. They are loathsome. Unfit narcissistic sociopaths indeed.

Another bright side in this week of bright sides, a whole bunch of US Senate republicans were at the event. So far two have reported going down with it, but that is not going to be the end of it - the virus is like a tidal wave just building up to take out some of the most senior politicians in the country. And on that note, I am enjoying the delicious irony that at an event, set up to steal the Court for a generation, means that as they come down with Covid, as I understand it, incapacitated senators cannot vote and cannot be replaced. The way this virus is spreading right now, among these toady fuckers, McConnel may struggle to get a quorum together never mind the votes he needs to push the destruction of the Supreme Court through before November 3rd. Fingers crossed.

After witnessing Trump destroy the mental wellbeing of vast swathes of America, for the last 4 years, all the while taking a sledgehammer to the constitution, I have thoughts. I do not wish death on Trump, that would be far to easy. I want him to still be blinking and breathing on election day, I want to witness his hounding out of office with a resounding roar of anger from America, about what he has done in his time in office. I want to see him arrested. I want to see him locked up. I want to all his co-conspirators turn on him to pile on his pain. I want to be witness to the fascist scum that shout his name scurry back into their dank dark shitholes from whence they came.
I will not be able to see any of this come to pass if he kicks the bucket. So, I do not wish him dead, but I sure as hell hope he has a very bumpy ride. That is the least the virus can do for us, having had to listen to his disinformation for months on end, and witnessing the resulting death and mayhem.
