My 'Zero Sympathy' Policy For Trump Voters Being Crushed By Trump's Policies

We’re all more than aware of Donald Trump’s process of ethnic cleansing, euphemistically referred to as his “zero tolerance” policy. Similarly, I have a zero sympathy policy, in effect starting now and lasting indefinitely. My zero sympathy policy specifically refers to Trumnp voters who are just now discovering that their bulbous messiah is actually hurting them financially.

The first example comes to us from the middle West where soybean farmers are coping with the economically crippling impact of Trump’s whimsical trade war against, y’know, the world. Two weeks ago, Trump indiscriminately imposed $50 billion in tariffs against China, forcing President Xi Jinping to respond with a 25 percent tariff on soybeans, smacking Trump’s supporters in the agricultural sector with massive losses.

CNN:
“This isn’t just numbers on a sheet or percentage of trade or dollar value,” said Michael Petefish, a 33-year old Trump supporter and fifth generation farmer in southern Minnesota. Standing on the farm he will likely run for the next 40 years, he added, “This is multi-generational American families, your base, that you are now squarely putting into financial peril.”
---------
Yes, Trump voters entered into a suicide pact by voting for Trump. Maybe there’s hope, though. Maybe at some point they’ll realize politics isn’t sports, and votes aren’t cast based on how pissed the other side will be when they lose. Maybe they’ll discover that thoughtful voting matters — that facts matter, and that, yes, while sometimes “the libtards” make mistakes, we tend to know how to govern and we tend to be more closely tethered to reality, even when it comes to policies that exclusively benefit Trumpland. Conversely, we’ve learned the hard way that there are extraordinarily cruel and stubborn nincompoops out there who will continue to scream “lock her up” while the bank is seizing their farms.

And for them, there ought to be zero sympathy. They own this crisis. All of it.

Laura Ingraham: The Left's Constant Nazi Comparisons Are 'Why They Are Going To Get Killed in 2020'

Shortly after opening up to a panel, she butted heads with Democratic strategist Joel Payne, who insisted that the children being separated from their parents at the border were being placed in “internment camps.” And when dodging her question about whether there should be a penalty for illegal immigrants who cross the border and refusing to respond to MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch comparing Trump supporters to Nazis, she unleashed on him.

“He says there should be borders but there should be absolutely no penalty for crossing the border because then if you penalize someone, you are a Nazi, you’re putting people in internment camps, you’re going to concentration camp, and anyone who voted for Trump is a Nazi,” Ingraham said. “That’s where the left is and that’s why they are are going to get killed in 2020.”

An anti-Trump movement is calling for the boycott of these 24 retailers

The boycott-Trump movement has resurged.

Shannon Coulter, a brand and digital strategist, started the #GrabYourWallet hashtag in October 2016 to encourage people seeking a way to take concrete action against Donald Trump to boycott companies — large and small — that do business with his family. As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump's fashion line last year.

While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and activists.

State Supreme Court to Bakers Who Made Over $500,000 After Refusing a Same-Sex Couple: 'Denied'

The Oregon State Supreme Court has denied a request from the owners of Sweetcakes by Melissa, Melissa and Aaron Klein, to review the case against them, brought after they refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.
The Kleins were ordered to pay the couple $135,000 – not because they refused to bake them a wedding cake, but "for emotional suffering stemming directly from unlawful discrimination," the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industry (BOLI) stated in 2015. "The amounts are damages related to the harm suffered by the Complainants, not fines or civil penalties which are punitive in nature."

Old Trump friend Tom Arnold says Melania is 'traumatized' by 'abusive relationship'

“She is so out of touch. That woman is traumatized. She is in an abusive relationship, I’m going to give her that. Because that is absolutely insane,” he said. “I wish she had the compassion that I had for her, for those children. We cannot accept this because it’s so sad what is happening there.

I would imagine being married to Trump is deeply traumatising - that is no excuse though.

THE BRILLIANT THING ABOUT BARACK OBAMA'S RELATIONSHIP ADVICE IS THAT IT'S BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS

Pfeiffer writes that when he and his now wife were moving in together, Obama asked him a question that changed the way he thought about relationships. “Here’s the advice I give everyone about marriage—is she someone you find interesting?” The president went on, “You will spend more time with this person than anyone else for the rest of your life, and there is nothing more important than always wanting to hear what she has to say about things.”

Trump tried to honor victims of crimes by unauthorized immigrants -- by signing their portraits

During an event Friday, President Donald Trump returned to an old argument about unauthorized immigrants to defend his administration’s immigration policy, highlighting families who lost loved ones to crimes committed by unauthorized immigrants.

Then he appeared to take it one bizarre step further, autographing the victims’ photos. It’s not clear how this came about — and particularly whether it was at the request of the families — but the portraits clearly bear Trump’s signature:

At one point during the event, Trump pointed to a photo of someone who had been killed and joked: “Tom Selleck, except better looking.”
