The irony of Cult45

Most infamous cults came to their demise once their members were convinced to consume a laced substance, be it Kool-Aid, applesauce, etc.

Now the Q followers are convinced that by NOT taking the COVID vaccine they will ultimately be the ones saved.

🤦?♂️

Imagine how Trump supporters would acted if

on election night, the media called a major swing state for Trump, but then retracted it and then called it for Biden. And then that swing state became THE state pivotal in the election outcome, and was decided by the slimmest of margins. Trump called for recounts, only to be blocked by Biden through the courts, until ultimately the USSC essentially declared Biden the winner, even though the recount hadn’t been completed.

Thank goodness we avoided a nightmare scenario like that.

Ironic observation....

While I do not condone rioting or looting, I think I understand where it comes from, the reality of what gives life to it.

But I do find it ironic, and think it’s a very safe bet, that those that are expressing the greatest outrage over the rioting and looting were likely the same ones who were running to sign up to join an astroturf group because a black man became president. What was the name of that group again?

Oh, that’s right, the Tea Party.

The advantages a mass shooter has over a

“good guy with a gun”:

1) Ambush factor. The shooter is the only one prepared for what is going to happen. Even if everyone else in the room is armed, how many will be shot before they can get their gun out? The shooter has also likely done their homework and have a plan.

2) They can shoot indiscriminately. Most mass shooting cases are seem to be more about the total death toll, not going after specific targets. Any “good guy with a gun” will be looking for a clean shot amidst the chaos and people fleeing, taking cover. Meanwhile, the mass shooter can rain down bullets on anyone that comes into view.

3) The shooter will likely have a lot more ammo. I don’t know what the average c-and-c carrier packs, but I doubt it comes anything close to what the Dayton shooter had on him.

I’m sure there a more, but I wish there was more pushback on the notion that simply being armed makes you safer.

What are the chances the Mueller report...

... is like the Comey letter?

I just listened to Rachel Maddow’s show from last night, and she talked about sources explaining why the Barr summary was handled the way it was, having to do with the impact Comey’s letter had on Hillary Clinton’s political vitality, and wanting to avoid that with Trump. The richness of that aside, what if there is a kernel of truth to what impact the Mueller report actually has? I think many of us (myself included) are hoping the gap between Barr’s summary and the full report have Trump red-handed, but this does give me pause for what we ultimately get when it hopefully all comes to light. We really need a smoking gun in this report, but I wonder if Mueller was really able to find one.

How bad could this have been...

if this guy was a competent bomb maker? How alarmed should we be at the possibility that potential explosives are circulating through our mail streams and shipping channels?
