Ohio election update. What a mess for poll workers.

Gov DeWine announced that he is halting the election tomorrow to protect the poll workers. I was relieved because Mr. Dupree is a poll worker. Now we hear that someone is suing to have the election go on tomorrow. So off the poll workers go tonight to set up for God knows what tomorrow. As if we don’t have enough stress. Why would anyone be so thoughtless re the safety and welfare of these people? That’s a rhetorical question.

Does declaring a national emergency give trump the authority to shut down the Nov. Presidential

election due to public “safety and security”? I can’t get the thought out of my mind that he may be planning it.

Possible Coronavirus exposure.

Our son, who lives in Chicago, just found out that someone his entire family was with last Saturday has ALL the symptoms of Covid19. But the guy’s doctor won’t test him because of his age (late 30’s).
So what is my son, his wife, and two children supposed to do? This is so f’d up. EVERYONE with symptoms should be tested.

Feeling kind of low.

I’m old, I have chronic medical conditions, my lungs have always been my weakness because if I get sick, the lungs always cause problems, I’m a retired RN and I think I know what’s going to happen with the world pandemic, and on top of it, the people on tv are always focusing on how younger people will probably be ok if they get Coronavirus but us old farts, well kiss your butt goodbye! Very scary times. Trying to keep busy and not focus on this but it’s difficult.
