I made the same observation on another thread but you spelled it out much better here.
Speaking of Rovian attacks, did you see that Pete is urging people to "embrace change" and not to return to the "normal" times "before... Trump"? Say what?
The 37-year-old Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, has made generational change a centerpiece of his presidential candidacy. Without naming Biden, he called on the audience to embrace change and resist the urge to return to the days before President Donald Trump.
"We will not and cannot win if our message as a Democratic Party is 'We're just going to go back to normal,'" Buttigieg said.

Um, his recent resume is EIGHT YEARS as second-in-command to the leader of the free world.
What should he talk about?
Great video of a singular Obama-Biden moment.
I also love the one where Barack surprises Joe with the Medal of Freedom with Distinction, an honor only given to three other world figures.
Man, do I miss those two.
Biden is defending himself against Booker's attacks not selling a T-shirt about it.
Or making shit up so he can sell T-shirts.
I have been a grassroots activist for decades. My common sense conclusions are supported by facts.
Your refusal to give credit to Bernie's galvanizing and inspirational effect on the youth vote since 2016 is not shared by anyone I know in the state Democratic Party committees where I am active, one of whom is a large battleground state.
We saw things on the ground that an anonymous blogger like you wouldn't understand given it wasn't written up in Psychology Today.
Of course it does, unless you think those newly engaged Bernie youth voters sat out 2018.
You'll have to prove that to me, though.
WaPo: "More young people voted for Bernie Sanders than Trump and Clinton combined - by a lot"
It's hard to overemphasize how completely and utterly Sen. Bernie Sanders dominated the youth vote to this point in the 2016 presidential campaign. While Hillary Clinton dominated him among older voters, he dominated her right back among younger voters -- even winning more than 80 percent of their votes in some states against no less than the eventual Democratic nominee. But this fact might say it better than any: In the 2016 campaign, Sanders won more votes among those under age 30 than the two presumptive major-party presidential nominees combined. And it wasn't close.

lol...puhleeeze. Quote me. Provide a link.
I have never been fond of cults of personality. My support for Biden included spending my birthday volunteering for over 12 hours at his kickoff rally in Philly. Joe would be the first to support my American right to voice my opinion without being branded by an anonymous blogger as somehow unfit.
Says the person who questioned my allegiance to Biden....
Oh, here is a fact:
