24. Yeah, but do they have chops like our own Self proclaimed polling experts? I mean the wealth of knowledge regarding polling displayed here on a daily basis is truly breathtaking. The bolded text, the smilies, the self assurance. It’s really something to behold. We are truly blessed beyond belief.

"Warren receives 1%" of AA voters.

A leading performance among AA voters for a Democratic Presidential candidate is central to their electability in a general election in states that are not 97% white.

According to the Economist Primary Poll Summary, Biden polls four times greater than Harris and 10 times greater than Booker among black voters.

In the OP, the Echelon Insights Poll says:

"Biden, Harris, and Booker overperform among black Democratic voters, while Warren receives 1% in this group."

Something to think about when choosing a candidate...

Their are pro-M4A which most American voters do not want and will not vote for.

14. Does it matter? I have said all along any woman will have a tough time winning the presidency in
sexist America...and with Trump in office,we simply shouldn't take the chance this year...what can you do...you can't force them to stop being sexist?

Thank you for speaking up. It has always struck me as nonsensical to INSIST on any gender...

...as if being of a certain gender confers greater virtue.

anyone basing their choice on an "a": a woman, a gay person, a person of color, a man.

What somebody "is" ranks way down on the list of what I am looking for and how I choose a candidate. Breaking a glass ceiling is a bonus, but (imo) should never be a determining factor. One should look for the candidate they believe will execute the office of the presidency best. Running a vast country is the one place affirmative action is not appropriate. On my list are things like:

character
biography
depth of understanding across a range of areas: foreign affairs, economy, social issues, environmental issues
ability to communicate cogently (and preferably eloquently) and to explain complex topics to the public
managerial experience
staff and consultants, and ability to listen to advice and make informed decisions from among a range of opinion
complex thinker
sincerity (e.g., avoids pandering for the purpose of gaining votes)
etc.

I didn't vote for Barack Obama in 2008 or Hillary Clinton in 2016 because they were black or a woman. I voted for them (in primaries) because I felt they were the best candidate. Remember what Doctor King said: one should judge a person by the content of their character, not the color of their skin . . . or their gender or sexual orientation.

Moral of this OP: Always read the fine print in anti-Joe "news".

Beacuse seriously, there is nothing wrong with VP Joe, given he was fully vetted in 2008.

Good job, highplainsdem.

Long way to go, but Joe is clearly the strongest candidate to face Trump.

Even stronger if the Biden campaign were to go negative...
