A very carefully worded opinion on the car crash

First, I am talking about the celebrity car crash that happened the day after the major tragedy that killed all those people. They did not happen on the same day.

The picture that was taken of her sitting in the car at the site of the first crash was probably just a result of not wearing makeup. It doesn't indicate anything.

The owner of the salon that she had visited just prior to the crash stated that she did not appear drunk.

Her producer stated that the podcast was recorded on Tuesday, not on the day of the crash, which was on Friday.

The video of the "near miss" of a pedestrian was no such thing. There was a pedestrian, but he/she barely looked up, if at all. The car was not angled anywhere near the person as she passed by.

The picture of the alleged bottle of vodka shows a red cap; but Smirnoff vodka, the most likely brand with a red cap has a branding with a red banner on the bottle below the cap. The bottle that is pictured has a white label.

So, I'm not saying that it isn't liquor, I'm just saying that it is doubtful that it is Smirnoff. Interesting enough, most red cap vodkas, of which there are fewer than other colors, mostly also have red banner labels. So, I don't think that this picture is conclusive of anything. It could be a bottle of soy sauce, for all we know. Or hair shampoo.

If they didn't draw the blood within 12 hours, it probably won't be any good for DUI. The story shifted a bit over time, and they are still waiting for results. I found that on average it takes as long as four to six weeks to obtain BAC results. So, they're not going to arrest her for DUI for at least that long.

They could have done a urine test if they got the warrant, but guess what? It isn't illegal to drive with alcohol in your urine. They can extrapolate backward and estimate the amount of alcohol in the blood from the urine, but that's iffy. And after five days, that test is also no good. So, if they didn't get that, it's too late. I'm sure she has a foley in, so they could have done that.

In California, you have to pick from a blood draw, a breath test, or a urine test. If you refuse to take a test, you'll lose your license. The urine test is the least accurate.

The videos of the car racing through the street were alarming, but those that estimated 100 miles an hour just don't know. A third video surfaced which has peculiar sounds on it coming from the car as the car passes. She was driving a Mini Cooper Clubman, it is reported. The difference between a Clubman and Countryman isn't stated, but there are recalls of Mini Coopers for such issues as unintended acceleration. Also..."is recalling certain 2017-2019 MINI Cooper Countryman vehicles. These vehicles may be missing a crash protection plate near the high pressure fuel pump, which may result in a fuel leak in the event of a crash."

In addition to these problems, owners reported excessively hot parts in the pedal areas which caused them to have to remove their feet from the area. My point is, we really don't know what happened to the car, if anything, and we don't know if it was deliberate.

I feel really bad for the woman living there, but it was not her house. It was a rental. I'm not trying to minimize her losses. I know how I would feel. And, she had two dogs to house and care for, so that is an important consideration. That's not easy. The public raised over $100,000 to help her out. At least there's that.

I don't know why Heche backed up and left the scene after causing property damage with the vehicle. No pictures were taken of the garage, and this is likely a misdemeanor hit and run--if it was a hit and run at all. You have up to ten days to report accidents. The three elements of a hit and run are: not stopping, providing identification, or offering help. She obviously did stop, and no person was injured or otherwise involved in the accident. That leaves the requirement to provide identification--but, to whom? Did the people there, who were not part of the accident, have the right to impede her or threaten her over this?

The learning experience I received was to find out that it is not illegal to drive with alcohol in your urine. They have to basically guess how much alcohol is in your blood. Now, I do not drink and drive; I barely have a glass of wine in a year. So, don't misunderstand. I'm not advocating that a raging drunk be allowed to continue on their merry. (And, I have war stories that are not pretty.) But, this woman was basically told to crawl off in a corner and die, because she has money and because she's a public figure (and no, for those that can't abstractly process this idea, I don't mean that anyone said for her to die, although there were implications.)

That's all I want to say. I hope she doesn't die. Hope we win in November. Thank you.

They just finished CPAC

where that poll they conducted said that Trump came in number one as their preferred candidate.

But, if we get Trump on harboring classified documents, and he can't run for office ever again, won't that cause the GOP to have to pick someone else? Doesn't that push the insane DeSantis up to number 1?

We will still be on the alert, but if that happened, Trump himself will cause chaos in the Party. Sure hope we get him.

Pardon me, but how am I gonna learn

if I don't ask you?

So, this athlete was running a race, during which his junk popped out and he had to finish the race with his hand over his crotch.

There is a link to another athlete whose junk popped out during the NFL Combine, and he said that it was because he was wearing boxers and not tights.

Okay, so I don't wear boxers or tighty whites or anything like that. Plus, I got nothing down there that can flop out, anyway. So, how is it that a guy's junk can flop out like that, if he was wearing boxers? Flop out past the boxers, and his uniform, maybe out the bottom? Doesn't an athlete have enough experience to know if his stuff is going to show?

And, I always thought that guys wore athletic supporters which would have prevented this wardrobe malfunction. Can you run better without a supporter? And, if you were running, why didn't he just let it all hang out and run with his arms swinging, and fix it when the race was over? It got blurred out, anyway. He could have done that. He didn't win. He's the guy kind of in the middle lane of the track, in blue.

How would you instruct your son to overcome this problem? Make him wear something under his uniform, or let him take his chances? I once had to buy a supporter for my kid, but that was so he could wear a cup (hockey.) I was treated to a parade around the house with demonstrations of knocking on the cup (he was a little boy with happiness in his heart.) But, no one ever talked about anything falling out.

I know that tits can pop out depending on stuff, but girls know this. Girls are particular and have other issues. But, this is the first time I ever heard of this for a guy. I watch a lot of track, and have never seen a runner wearing tights.

I'm not making fun of this athlete, but it did make me smile.
