Sticking with Joe and Kamala!

We have to vaccinate everyone on the planet that we can find. You can't leave pockets of contagion with this virus. We have a global mandate to do this simply because if we don't, we are toast.

I don't think I am quite old enough to get a shot, but I am going to look around and see if I can find a source. That'll be my first task. Then, I am going to find a way to join the fight. I am licensed to at least give shots.

I am going to pay attention to those good things that Joe/Kamala bring on. Get rid of the EC, fix the Post Office, avoid Repubs...and other things...this day will recede.

Now, we have to focus on saving as many as we can. We owe it to our children. Our standing in the world will slowly come back. As far as I am concerned, there is only one American Party. The other party is fascist. They are a zero.

for their efforts to uphold the Constitution.

I despise Republicans.

If this wasn't something to impeach for, nothing is.

These Repubs have everlasting SHAME that they protected a monster like this. McConnell is also a monster.

I suppose in 2022 I will have to pay attention once again to politics. Meanwhile, I can ask G-d to punish these Repubs for their betrayal of our country. Where is the list? History will record their fealty to a wannabe dictator.

If it weren't for our heroes of Jan. 6th, some of these assholes might well have been murdered.

I am deeply ashamed of every one of these Repubs who voted to not hold Trump accountable. It's going to be impossible for me to forgive them. Oh, I'll work on it. My spirituality requires it. But, Repubs just stay away from me...

What about the letter from McConnell?

One where he apparently stated he would vote to acquit? I missed that.

Why does he keep saying

"please, read along with me?" How many times is he going to say this?

There will be no excuse

if the Repubs do not convict Trump. Nada, zippo, zero. This is it.

If they were not listening, it was because they were not doing their duty today. If this were an actual criminal trial, they would have been admonished by the trial judge. Your political dollars at work, people. These people are not worth it. Their shortcomings were on display.

Some of them were allowed to go elsewhere because of the pandemic. That's okay. But those that allowed themselves to be viewed as they did other things rather than listen, are fools, and despicable. People lost their lives. At least they could listen.

If they do not convict Trump, they own it. Forever. How they could sleep at night, I do not know. This will be in the written record. Don't ever call yourselves "patriots" again.

The House Managers hit on Trump's anticipated defense of free speech twice. They must feel that it is his only defense. I think so, too.

They might point out that while Trump incited a riot (which they will claim was not intentional,) the charge before them is inciting an insurrection (which they will claim was not intentional.)

I think this would be splitting hairs. The Defense's job is to give the Repubs a hook to hang their hats on. So, when they get called out on media bytes, they can give a plausible excuse.

I am not only convinced that Trump is guilty, but now I favor his going to jail -- which is not on the table this day. We have to move on to the vote to prevent him from ever holding office again.
